You can book on the Venue Forum on-line (Find a Course). Representatives from the South West LTA team will be giving lots of useful updates as well as DLTA updating on what s happening in the county. A rough guide of the evening :- Update on LTA strategy process GBTW Facilities funding Registration Benefits including the new benefits guide Clubspark Participation Programmes and how Clubs can access more of the programmes such as Miss Hits, Mini Tennis and GBTW Membership County update including Small Grants & Loans Scheme We look forward to seeing you there. SMALL GRANTS & LOANS SCHEME It s now two years since the Small Grants & Loans Scheme was launched and in that time, 16 schemes have received financial support with total contributions of more than 14,500. Schemes have ranged from community tennis programmes and parks projects to signage and coaching courses. We are keen for the Scheme to be more accessible, both in terms of applying and to whom is able to apply for funding and have made some small changes to reflect this. We also manage a fund specifically to help with the running or set up costs of competitive events e.g. tournaments, ladders etc. REGISTRATION Registration renewal commences on 1 st October For venues to be eligible for the Wimbledon Ballot, Registration needs to be completed by Friday, 11 th December 2015 and payment needs to be made by Thursday, 31 st December Completing Registration on-line should take around half the time as last year as most questions will be prepopulated with the answers input last year. The cost of Registration has increased to 110 per court and 55 per grass court (maximum 12 courts charged for max fee = 1,320). This is the first increase since This year, venues will receive a Welcome Pack which will include a guide called First Service. This will give an overview on all the benefits of being a Registered Venue together with detailed guidance on how to redeem these benefits. More information will be available at the upcoming Venue Forum, see below. WIIMBLEDON BALLOT & OPT-IN / OPT-OUT Opt-in is going to remain an annual process for British Tennis Members. BTM s who do not wish to attend The 2016 Championships will be able to opt-out. This will allow the LTA and venues to see if a member is genuinely not interested and therefore able to tailor communications more effectively, more importantly not sending communications to those who are not interested in receiving this benefit for Opt-in Dates : 28 th September 2015 to 19 th February 2016 DATE FOR YOUR DIARY DLTA Annual General Meeting Tuesday, 3 rd November at The West Hants Club, 7 pm.
