Bulletin 3 /2 The Hellenic Waterski & Wakeboard Federation and the Pamvotis Waterski Club would like to invite all the E&A skiers to the 2018 E&A Open Waterski Championships.

2 Bulletin 3 /2 The Hellenic Waterski & Wakeboard Federation and the Pamvotis Waterski Club would like to invite all the E&A skiers to the 2018 E&A Open Waterski Championships. Location Ioánnina, often called Iánnena, is the largest city and the capital of Epirus in northwestern Greece with a population of approximately 120,000. It lies at an elevation of approximately 500 meters above sea level, on the western shore of lake Pamvotis. It is located within the Ioannina municipality, and is the capital of Ioannina prefecture and the region of Epirus. Ioannina is located 350 km northwest of Athens, 250 km southwest of Thessaloniki and 80 km east of the port of Igoumenitsa on the Ionian Sea.

4 Bulletin 3 /4 Transport Ioannina city can be easily reached by car and airplane from Athens or Thessaloniki. By Road Ioannina is part of the major road network for northern Greece and can be accessed via Egnatia motorway (A5) from Thessaloniki (apprx distance 250 km) or via a new motorway E65 & A5 from Athens and Patras (apprx 350kms /3,5 hours) By Airplane: Ioannina Airport (IOA) is located 2 km from the Tournament Area and 3 km from the City Center with 2 flights to/from Athens (ATH) daily. Direct flights from/to Cyprus, Copenhagen and Stockholm are also serviced by Ioannina Airport. Aktion/Preveza Airport (PVK) is located approx. 90 km (1h) from Ioannina with regular daily flights to Athens and many biweekly low cost flights from/to many European countries during summer period (Italy, England, Austria, Germany, Belorussia, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Holland, Norway, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, and Serbia). Corfu Airport (CFU) is connected to many international destinations and almost all European countries with regular and low cost/charter flights all year, but mainly during the summer. 6 Bulletin 3 /6 Entry Requirements ATTENTION - Intentions to Enter and Entries MUST be submitted exclusively through the on line Admin system at using the password which was provided to your Federation for this purpose. Intention to Enter Deadline for submitting Intention to Enter Forms (ITE) was Sunday July 8 th 2018 exclusively through the on line system at The Partial Entry fee of 50 euro per skier already paid with the ITE will be deducted from the full entry fee per skier per Federation. A Federation entering a team, even of only one skier, after the 60 days deadline, will be fined 200 euro. b. Entry Form The deadline for submitting the Entry Forms and paying the balance of the entry fee is Wednesday August 22 nd 2018; they must be exclusively submitted through the online system at Entry fee for each Athlete is 180 regardless of disciplines entered by each competitor. The payment receipt number, of the relevant registration fee, must be entered on the form at the time of submission. (Intention to enter form 50 per skier, Entry form 130 per skier) Late entry fee is 10 per skier per day after the dead line. Account name: Tournament Council IBAN: NL13 ABNA BIC: ABNANL2A Location: Amsterdam Training Official Familiarization 4 th & 5 th September 2018 The last two days immediately before the Championships will be reserved and used for Official Familiarization. This will be organized so that each competitor who has paid shall be allocated either a set number of passes and/or a certain amount of time at the discretion of the Chief Judge based on the principle that every skier shall receive an equal opportunity for familiarization. Slalom skiers will receive a maximum of 4 passes (or 6 minutes); trick skiers 2 passes (or 5 minutes) and jump skiers 3 jumps (or 6 minutes). Each team requesting familiarization time shall indicate on the official Intention to Enter form time required. Time will be scheduled for competitors on a random team basis, and shall be grouped by event, i.e. slalom familiarization; trick familiarization and jump familiarization (by jump height) will be grouped together.

7 Bulletin 3 /7 Any athlete, who is not ready to ski in accordance with the schedule, will lose their official familiarization time. The Chief Judge shall have the discretion to change the start time of team s familiarization based on extraordinary circumstances. Teams requiring familiarization time must send in the request for time on the Official Intention to Enter form together with the number of skiers in each event requiring time. The deadline for submitting Official familiarization was July 8 th The familiarization schedule has been published and can also be found at the end of this Bulletin. Official Practice at the Tournament Site can be booked on a rate of 240 per hour or 4 per minute. Training prior to the competition (and the official practice): Pamvotis waterski Club is open every day of the week June 10 th 2018 to October end depending on the weather conditions. Training time can be booked from at the following rates: o June 10 th - August 24 th : 30 per set (15min) or 120 per hour. o August 5 th to September 3 rd : 40 per set (12min) or 200 per hour. 8 Bulletin 3 /8 Doping control In accordance with the IWWF, EC and AC Anti-Doping Rules, Doping controls will be conducted during the competition. By entering this competition, all athletes agree to be subject to doping control and must have signed the IWWF Athlete Consent Form. Information about the IWWF Anti-Doping program, the current IWWF AD Rules and links to the list of banned substances can be accessed on iwwfed.com in the homepage, under the "Anti Doping" menu. Please fill-out the Athlete s Consent Form found herein for each athlete and submit it to the Organizing Committee by September 3 rd. Local Transport The Organizer will provide free transportation, from the Official Hotel to the site and back, only to the Officials and Judges of the tournament. Several in-city bus lines (every 5-10 ) connect the Tournament Area with all city areas. Taxis are safe, clean and cheap. Bicycle rentals are also available. Parking and storing facilities Please refer to Bulletin 1. Food and drinks Lunch will be available at the site, by professional catering service, from 4 th -9 th September. Lunch will include pasta as a starter, plus a main dish (selection of four different dishes), salad, fruit, bread and a bottle of water. Prepaid lunch coupons cost 12/menu and must be paid to the following bank account by August 25 th Menu a la carte, bought at the site, will have a higher cost. 11 IWWF Athlete Consent Form IWWF Europe&Africa Tournament Waterski Open Championships Ioannina, Greece September 6-9, 2018 As a member of a National Federation affiliated to the International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation and a participant in an event authorized or recognized by the International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation, I hereby declare as follows: 1. I acknowledge that I am bound by, and confirm that I shall comply with, allof the provisions of the IWWF Anti-Doping Rules (as amended fromtime to time), the World Anti-Doping Code (the Code ) and theinternational Standards issued by the World Anti-Doping Agency, asamended from time to time, and published on WADA s website. 2. I consent and agree to the creation of my profile in the WADA Doping ControlClearing House ( ADAMS ), as requested under the Code to which IWWF is a Signatory, and/or any other authorized National Anti- DopingOrganization s similar system for the sharing of information, and to the entryn my Doping Control, Whereabouts and Therapeutic Use Exemptions relateddata in such systems. 3.
