Top scorers were: Seb D 40 (retired), Will D 22, David O 8 and Rhys W 6. The boys put on a fantastic bowling effort and narrowly lost by four wickets with six overs to spare. Mrs Pike reports that the boys were a fantastic group to take away, showing outstanding sportsmanship. Thanks also to the parents and siblings who helped on the day and transported the boys to play in the match. Congratulations everyone on a fine achievement! The general assistant position vacated by Bob Kaye earlier this year will be advertised on the IworkforNSW website this Friday, 3rd November and will be open for two weeks. Information is provided on the website regarding the role and responsibilities attached to the position. Please apply online if you are interested in the applying. Da Vinci Expedition Firstly we were told that Temora Airport was a defence force base and that someone too young put his brother s age in and wore big shoes to make it past the height test and by the time they found out he was the right height and correct age. Then we went into the display hangar and our tour guide told us about all the planes we started with the Tiger Moth which was the training plane that the teens started in then we went to the Wirraway which was harder to fly and so on then we went to the main part the Da Vinci expedition we couldn t touch the red items but we could fiddle with the green items there were some cool items.
