1 MARIETTA MIDDLE SCHOOL Indian information Volume 3, issue 2 October MMS Spotlight teacher I have interviewed Ms. Saxon for our teacher spotlight. She is a new teacher at our school, and I hope we will all like her and know her better. Do you like your job? Yes, I love it. Do you like your students? Some of them, yes. Just kidding. Yes, I love them all. Do you like being on the teacher spotlight? Not really. I like to be behind the scenes. What made you want to be a teacher? My fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Kem. I was horrible at math, and my parents were going through a divorce. She did not give up on me. She always believed in everyone. And I hope to be an inspiration of her. This is my future. Do you like Marietta? I do. I love it here. I like the small town feel. Everyone is friendly. There we go, that is our teacher spotlight. I hope that everyone likes her, I definitely do. She is an interesting teacher. I don t have her, but I love her. Article by Mackenzie Graham See you at the pole Photo submitted by C. O Connor Words to live by... Learning is not a spectator sport. D. Blocher My experience at See You At The Pole was amazing! SYATP is where not only your school, but all surrounding schools gather around the flag pole and pray around 7:30am. Then there was Saw You At The Pole where all surrounding schools get together at the Methodist Church in Ardmore, Ok. It was a Wednesday night so we had church service like we usually would. I was so happy to see so many Marietta people go! If you didn't go, I highly recommend you going next year. It s amazing! Article by Shannyn Wofford

Most students mainly come to ECU on an academic scholarship. Sometimes some students come to ECU on athletic scholarships, but not a lot of times. When you visit, ask about their myth of having a circus elephant buried on campus. They ll tell you all about it. Now, for the questions: Kassidy Sprouse: How did you like ECU? It was okay.
