1 Poinsettia Palette April showers bring May flowers. We will be painting lots of flowers with Carol Ganzi. Be sure and sign up for the pretty orchid paint-in day. Thanks to all who painted the tags for the SDP Convention. They are on their way to Kansas. And thank you Liz for helping us paint the beautiful fruit bowl. I will miss the May meeting as I am flying to South Carolina for two graduations. My granddaughter will be getting her BA and my daughter will receive her Masters of Divinity. It will be a busy two weeks. Terrie Busse will be handling the May meeting so you will be in good hands. Willeen Summerfield, Cathy Villa and I spent a wonderful weekend in Big Bear painting with Shara Reiner. The projects were a little bit of everything-collage, stenciling, ornaments, metal tins, photo clips, etc. We managed to get most of it finished before coming home. That is a real accomplishment for me. It snowed fourteen inches while we were there but the roads were clear on Sunday as we headed for home. My sister Janet shared an ultra doodle art process called Zentangle. You can google the word and several websites will come up. Jerry s Artarama sells the books and pens. It looks like fun and is another creative process to try. Just a reminder for the board: we have a meeting on May 23 rd at 10 a.m. at Poinsettia Gardens Craft room.
