1 Poinsettia Palette Are you ready? Even though it is still fall, we are beginning the mad dash into the Holidays and the end of the year. We have one more paint-in in 2013, if you haven t signed up yet, get your fees to Karen ASAP because you don t want to miss the rusty tin projects Liz is teaching at the Thousand Oaks Library November 23 rd. Our November meeting is an important one if you want to have a voice in what we paint next year. Karen will have the pictures and specifics on the projects submitted by the teachers. Come and vote for your favorites. Chapter and SDP dues are due and delinquent after December 1 st. Avoid the late fees by getting your completed forms and fees in before the due date. Every member who gets her chapter dues and completed form to Daphne on or before November 3 rd, will be entered in a drawing for a free paint-in. You should all have your year-end raffle tickets now. Let me know if you need extras. Sales must be going well as checks and completed ticket stubs are coming in daily. Remember, there is a special prize for the member who sells/purchases the most tickets over $50. Hint it is something every member will want. Mona and her committee are working overtime on the Holiday Party decorations and favors. It is always a day of fun and laughter with good friends. The ornament and gift exchanges are always exciting. Both events are optional bring one to get one. Ornaments should be painted by you and the gifts should be either painted or hand made. Our chapter has three wonderful painted items for our fund-raiser this year: #1- a darling chair painted by Karen Lewis, #2 a 23 table runner with matching placemats by Carol Ganzi, and a beautiful 20 x 15 box painted by Jane Ball donated by Peggy Jones. While we are a non-profit organization, monies raised from these ticket sales allow us to continue supporting Chapter activities including our Outreach Programs for Tender Life and Hats From the Heart. Please do your part and sell/purchase at least twenty tickets. Enclosed you will find 20 tickets. We have more tickets and we are sure you will need them! Be sure to circle your selection before turning in your ticket stubs. Please bring your completed ticket stubs and checks to the October and November meetings & Paint-Ins or the Holiday Party or mail them to the address below. 8 ANNUAL CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON Save the Date!!!! and Celebrate It's our annual Christmas Party & 2014 Officer Installation Luncheon. Christmas Luncheon and 2014 Officer Installation Come and join in, it's our Christmas Luncheon and 2014 Officer Installation. On Saturday, December 7th at 11 a.m. at the Sterling Hills Golf and Country Club. Choose between Panko Crusted Chicken or Vegetarian for $10 or Petite Filet Mignon for $12.
