10 So Touching I received this beautiful letter on August 26 th from one of our members. I was so touched by his letter that I needed to share it with all of you. This is yet another confirmation as to why I love being here; I have been truly blessed! Pam Dear Northvale Police Department I want to express my overwhelming thanks, gratitude and appreciation for all the help you provided for me. I m disabled with COPD and was having a very hard time breathing and experiencing heat exhaustion on Saturday, August 13 th and Sunday, August 14 th because of the heat and humidity. Two days of unbelievable heat. Upon reaching out to the Police I was so pleased to have them bring me to the Senior Center where the room was cool and breathing so much easier. Pam, the Director, left her home and came to see how she could assist me. She had food brought in for me, supplied water and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Thanks to Pam for going the extra mile one of the most giving persons I ever met! The Police Officers brought in oxygen on a regular basis for me. They were extremely attentive to my problem. The Northvale Police Department deserves accolades beyond belief. They are wonderful caring individuals. Sgt. Mike and his Officers deserve every consideration and help that we can give them. They are a bunch of great guys. BLUE LIVES MATTER. THEY SERVE THE COMMUNITY. Sal Zullo, a resident of Northvale for 60 years. Pam God Bless you! Thank you so much.
