6 Hotel The host hotel for this year will be the Holiday Inn 57th Street. There is a parking lot associated with the hotel that charges $28 for 24 hours. The hotel is less than 10 minutes walking from the venue. We recommend you leave your car at the hotel walk or take a cab to the competition and then pick up your car back at the hotel after the competition. This way you will save $30 dollars not having to park near the gym. The host hotel information is below. Rooms are limited so please call as soon as you can. 7 William White Award Nomination Dear athlete, In 2015, we will be presenting the William White award to a coach at the NY INVITATIONAL. This original award is being given in honor of Bill White, a much loved gymnastics coach from New York City. While he was coaching, Bill White would always enter the gym with a smile on his face, always have a positive word for his athlete, and always push his gymnasts to take valuable lessons with them when they left the gym. Bill White continues to teach with the same enthusiasm and warmth as a teacher of students with learning disabilities in New York. To nominate your coach for the William White award, please let us know how your coach brings joy to the process of learning gymnastics, and makes you happy to be in the gym. Please mail or a letter to one of the addresses below, include in your letter your coach s name, your name, level, and club, and the amount of time you have been training with your coach.
