Students may learn more and apply by visiting THANK YOU INERACT CLUB FOR HELPING ORGANIZE THIS EVENT ON SATURDAY. Words cannot express how grateful Interact Club is on the turn out we had on Saturday. Thanks so very much for helping Marvin make major improvements to our campus. He is ecstatic! I had several seniors tell me that they wished this project had been started their freshman year so we would be further along in beautifying our campus. At last count, we had 82 students come help. I watched a couple of Football players that helped on Saturday pointing out all the things that had been done to some other students as they walked into the building this morning. This speaks volumes of having school pride. I truly hope we can have this be our annual allschool event. Once again, I would like to let you know of the groups that donated materials. If you do business with these groups, would you please let them know that you were part of the workers that helped make this all possible?
5 Nathan Nigh of the Nigh Group donated a magnolia tree, shrubs, grasses, & decorate rock Jeff Estridge donated a load of dirt Meat Masters donated all the hamburgers Denise Thompson donated use of her rototiller Ye Olde Head Shoppe & Nancy Alldredge donated flowers Jared Manning donated chips, buns, & drinks Steve Bryant & Susie Coleman donated their cooking skills GCSC bought the mulch I hope you will put this event on your calendar for next year!
