The St. Louis Cadinals and the Chicago Cubs wee well epesented. Duing the aftenoon the Cubs had lost to the Cads. So the Cads came down to the Ban Dance to celebate the victoy, while the Cubs tuned out to foget thei loss in the music of fiddles and guitas. In the font ow sat two of the geatest pitches in baseball, Lon Waneke and "Dizzy" Dean. They both sat in the font ow, but vey fa apat. It must have done the Cubs good, fo they went out next day and beat the Cads. Thee was anothe young baseball playe in the audience Satuday night who deseves a mention. He is Robet Bodedof of Algonquin, Illinois. He holds a ecod all his own. The pin he weas on his coat lapel tells the stoy. Seven yeas of Sunday school attendance without missing a single Sunday. That's a ecod to be poud of, too, Robet. Geogie Goebel and Don Wilson may be seen almost daily now, ealy in the moning out in one of the eheasal ooms studying chemisty to- gethe.
