2 Meeting Crashers and Club of the Week SALC 1 Woodbridge Senior High School, Virginia- The overall vision for this project is to impact the school in a positive way through raising the morale and fellowship between the Viking community by creating a committee that highlights all of the clubs that WSHS has to offer. This committee will be crashing club meetings and promoting them over the morning announcements. The goal is to recognize clubs over the duration of January and February of 2017, with hopes of continuing this project throughout the rest of the year. 3 Contact: Sydney Crosby, Mr. Viola & Mrs. Bristow Telephone: Website: PASS IT ON CAMPAIGN Our way of creating a positive environment Woodbridge Senior High School, Virginia - The Pass It On Campaign has created inclusive posters that will be all around the school in mid-late January. These posters are being created to help influence the student body to not use terms that are harsh to many. Personal quotes from some students are going to be put onto the posters, in which they will spread the message to others; that you shouldn t say these terms in or even out of school. These posters are trying to promote confidence and motivation throughout the student body, and potentially our community. The posters will help students feel more comfortable in their own bodies, and eventually confident enough to be able to do or go anywhere without being critiqued. They will even be motivated by those around us to do what they want to do, or even wear what they prefer to see themselves in. This campaign will impact everyone, and benefit us in a positive way to learn and understand how we re affecting those around us. Pass It On is a new Campaign that we hope spreads awareness throughout our school. The posters will provide a more inclusive environment throughout Woodbridge Senior High School, and reduce the use of these terms. We, as a campaign, have seen what negative terms have been passed around our student body, and have decided to begin this initiative to end what has been said about one another. The Pass It On Campaign is thriving with progress, and will create a new, positive, environment, for everyone within Woodbridge Senior High School.

4 Contact: Andrea Funez Telephone: (703) WHAT IS A VIKING? CAMPAIGN Woodbridge Senior High School, Woodbridge, VA- The SALC I class will be executing a campaign named What is a Viking?. In this campaign SALC will be advertising traits that the student body believes all Vikings should encompass. Posters consisting of these traits and images of them, will be hung up on bulletin boards next to both lower and upper cafeterias. A video will be created containing quotes from many students about what it means to be a Viking, it will then be uploaded to Youtube by the classes. SALC hopes that this campaign will inspire students to have more school morale, be the best Viking they can be, and unify Woodbridge. 5 ZONE Contact Cameron Aragon Telephone Website W-ZONE STUDENT SECTION AT BASKETBALL GAMES Tentative Date: 1/27- Lady Vikings vs. Colgan Sharks Woodbridge,VA- Our goal here at SALC is to introduce a unique culture and uplift school spirit creating a student section at basketball games. We can improve the Lady Vikings performance at basketball games with your support! SALC wants students to have pride in their school by supporting the many event it provides. By coming to the following Lady Vikings game as they face off the Colgan Sharks, we can create something huge: a brand new student section at basketball games called the W-ZONE. The Lady Viking face Colgan Friday January 27th at Woodbridge Senior High School. Students who participate in the W-ZONE will receive a W-ZONE shirt as you cheer on our Vikings. Prizes will be distributed during the game so don't miss out! If a new date is needed, it will be announced via school website.
