Our team at Rockford Ninja Warrior creates obstacles that kids traverse, adults compete on, and spectators try to figure out. But many face deeper obstacles. Joshua, who at age 40 turned his life upside down and trained for Rockford Ninja Warrior. He was fed up with a lifelong battle of depression and anxiety. Or Devyn who declared her youth camp experience as "the bestest day of her life after meeting fellow #AlopeciaWarrior, Kevin Bull. She fell asleep looking at the pictures of the two of them on her mom s phone. We all know of families who have lost teens to suicide or of children who truly do not know where their next meal is coming from. We declare: WE ARE NOT OK WITH THIS! Are you? Community Impact and Reach of Rockford Ninja Warrior 2016 $45,000 in proceeds was donated to Rockford Public Schools Developing Healthy Kids Program and the D.A.R.E. Program. 21 phenomenal professional ninjas, who ve all appeared on NBC s hit show, American Ninja Warrior, trained and encouraged fitness enthusiasts of all ages through Rockford Ninja Warrior. 1,000+ youth camp attendees from across the globe traveled near and far to join us. 3,000+ youth course participants refused to give up against the Warped Wall adult camp attendees and adult course participants took their obstacles head on and inspired us to make this year s course even more challenging. 15,000+ Rockford Ninja Warrior attendees cheered loudly for friends and common ground strangers Expansion of Fourth Annual Rockford Ninja Warrior This year is bursting with positive impact as we debut our professional ninja competition, drawing in some of the most notable names from the hit TV show American Ninja Warrior. Additionally, we re planning a youth expo, moving the competition to the DeltaPlex, and becoming a 501(c)(3). Also, we ve brought in additional charitable partners, which include last year s organizations, as well as Hand2Hand Ministries, etc. We have no intentions of slowing down this momentum for improved fitness and youth wellness.
