Everyone on the grounds are reminded of the Codes of Conduct. All enquiries must be directed to the chief steward at the clubhouse. All competitors MUST be gear checked either before or directly after their ride. To fail to do so may incur elimination. Australian approved helmets must be worn at all times. Top Hats to be worn only in the warm up before your test. All scratchings must be forwarded to Amanda Elleman on , scratchings on the competition day phone Riders who present themselves late maybe eliminated from that test. There will be no adjustment to the draw, however with the consent of the EO s scratching times maybe reallocated. Dogs must be on a leash at all times All persons, spectators and competitors must maintain a 10 metre buffer zone around all arenas whilst riders are competing. Please be considerate of the neighbouring properties and drive slowly at all times Canteen available Saturday lunch, Sunday breakfast and lunch Dash the Coffee Man will be on site during the competition. Stallion owners please comply with the new Stallion Rules and have your identification discs on at all times.

4 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY FOR JUNIOR COMPETITORS Please read carefully Juniors Championship 29 th January Grade Champion: Champions will be awarded from a points system with the 1 st place winner being given 5 points down to 5 th place gaining 1 point. 2 best placing's in each grade to count. In the event of a tie on points the 2 highest percentage tests will count. Supreme Champion Riders: The winner will come from a horse and rider combination with the highest percentage points on the day from any grade. Ribbons will be awarded 1 st to 3 rd and one in four starters thereafter. Plus we have HEAPS OF PRIZES for all events. Champion and Reserve rugs will be awarded. The competition will be held in accordance with EFA rules where applicable. All junior riders (must be under 17 years of age at close of entries), must be a financial member of either Shoalhaven Dressage Club or the EA. Horses may compete in two consecutive levels (eg. Prelim/Novice). Junior riders may also compete in the Open classes on Sunday, but not as junior riders, they may nominate as Young riders or open riders. Protests must be made within ½ and hour of the posting of the scores on scoreboard. A fee of $50,( which will be refunded only if the protest is upheld), must accompany all protests. All protests must be in writing and given to the chief steward. All competitors must have a gear check before or directly after each test they have ridden. If you fail to have a gear check you maybe eliminated. Horses not entered in the draw cannot be brought onto the grounds during competition day (Insurance rules apply) One rider may only ride a maximum of two horses in any test. By 'placed' the committee means 1 st to 3 rd. Parents must sign for riders under 17 years. Dogs must be on a lead at all times. Callers are permitted. Whilst riding on the grounds an Australian approved helmet and correct riding boots must be worn. No rider to decide for themselves to take the place of a scratched entry. Please observe the speed limits when driving on the Common Grounds. The Committee's decision is final. RISK WARNING AND DISCLAIMER 1. 8 Conditions of Entry for all Competitors Please read carefully 30th January 2011 Grade Champion: Champions will be awarded from a points system with the 1 st place winner in each class being given 5 points and working down to 5 th place gaining 1 point. 2 best placing's in each grade to count. In the event of a tie on points the 2 highest percentage tests will count. SDC Member Supreme Champion: The winner will come from a Horse and Rider combination, who have attained the highest percentage scores on the day from any grade. Champion Pony: Best 2%'s from any level on the day. Champion Young Rider: Best 2%'s to count. ALL RIDERS PLEASE PRESENT AT THE PRESENTATIONS IN YOUR RIDING ATTIRE. ALL RUG WIN- NERS PLEASE MAKE YOURSELF AVAILABLE AFTER PRESENTATION, WITH HORSE AND RUG FOR PHOTOS. Ribbons and prize money will be awarded 1 st to 3 rd and one in four starters thereafter. Champion rugs will be awarded for both Official and Associate classes. Previous Champion winners are ineligible for the Champion award at that level or below. (FEI excluded) Official tests: The rider must be over 12 years of age and a financial member of the EA. The horse must be EA registered and horse owners must also be a financial member of EA. No Hors Concours entries taken for this Championships This competition is held in accordance with EA and FEI Rules where applicable. Protests must be made within ½ an hour of the posting of the scores on scoreboard. A fee of $50,( which will be refunded only if the protest is upheld), must accompany all pro tests. All protests must be in writing and given to the chief steward. All competitors, both associate and official, must have a gear check before or directly after each test they have entered. If you fail to have a gear check you maybe eliminated. Horses that are not entered in the draw cannot be bought on to the grounds during competition days (Insurance rules apply). This competition is open to horses, galloways, ponies and stallions. Stallion Owners be aware of the new rules regarding handling and riding of stallions, please refer to EA rules. Horses may compete in two consecutive levels (e.g. Prelim/Novice), but no more than three tests per horse. One rider may only ride a maximum of two horses in any test. By 'placed' the committee means 1 st to 3 rd. Parents must sign for all competitors under 18 years of age. Callers are permitted.
