Cyril cn be seen shunting coches from the crrige shed into the sttion every morning, while the stem engines re stemed nd polished inside the engine shed. Qurrymn, sometimes referred to s Fordson ʻtrctor, hs been brought to Rvenglss from its usul hiding plce the brown shed t Irton Rod. Qurrymn ws used, together with Perkins in its originl condition, to hul stone trins long the line, going s fr bck in time s the lte 1920s. Perkins is currently being rebuilt in our new workshop. Hopefully Qurrymn will run gin, too! If you live fr wy from Rvenglss, you might get the opportunity to see some Rtty locos working on other rilwys lter this yer. River Mite hs been sked to ttend the Kirklees Light Rilwy gl in West Yorkshire, while Northern Rock hs been invited to gl t the Bure Vlley Rilwy in Norfolk. Both of these events will be in September. Turn right nd follow the pth up the side of the ghyll. Ner to the top you will cross the ghyll three times over wooden bridges, which led you to Stnley Force sometimes known informlly s Dlegrth Flls. Forge Bridge is populr choice in the height of summer when the wether is best. Leve the trin t The Green nd wlk up to the min vlley rod, which crosses the rilwy over bridge t one end of the pltform. Turn right on to the rod nd follow it for five minutes to the King George IV pub. Continue (bering right) pst the pub for nother five minutes, where Forge Bridge will esily be found, with the River Esk flowing beneth it.
