I was lucky enough to experience first-hand the vibrant atmosphere in Pahiatua as our enthusiastic students who took part in this event. There were 74 teams competing this year, 666 participants and 190 matches played, no small feat! You did us proud Alfredton! Also, a big THANK YOU to the families that came to help shifting the fruit trees yesterday. I know your time is precious, so I truly appreciate you giving some of it up for the benefit of our school. SCIENCE FESTIVAL VIEWING The Bush Science Festival is on this week. Alfredton School will also have their own display on Thursday. DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP AGREEMENT Please remember to return the Digital Citizenship Agreements. Thank you to those who already have. Ngā mihi nui, Claire STUDENT VOICE Last week was the 7aside tournament. There was only two sports you could play at Alfredton soccer and hockey. Most of the year five and six s played soccer but still had enough players for a hockey team. The soccer team only won one game, it was still a lot of fun though. Everyone in my team was hanging back at first but some people were getting in there. In the end we came third on the table. Jack SCHOOL NEW Emergency Kits There are still 5 emergency kits to be returned.please contact the school if you are not intending on doing this.
