Th GCSAA Boad of Dictos has visd th Mmb Standads poposal aft civing input fom many constitunts ov th past fw months, bginning with th Chapt Dlgats Mting last Octob and caying though th cnt Golf Industy Show in San Antonio. To stat with, a nw, mo inclusiv dfinition of Class A has bn caftd that will allow individuals to maintain Class A status whn thy no long hold a golf cous supintndnt job, but hav scud mploymnt within th golf industy, as long as th ongoing quimnts continu to b fulfilld. In addition, th Supintndnt Mmb (SM) classification will b namd Class B. By liminating th Supintndnt Mmb (SM) classification and placing it with a Class B dsignation, th us of Class A, Class B, and Class C as ou th pofssional classifications of mmbship would b claly undstandabl by mploys and influntial golfs. Changs poposd to both th ligibility and nwal quimnts futh dmonstat that ducation and xpinc a fundamntal to achiving Class A status and nhanc th valu of Class A status now and in th futu.
