1 12th Open West-Brabant karate tournament Kata / Kumite Saturday June 21th, 2014 Location Sports hall In De Roos, Commandobaan 6, 4706 CL Roosendaal, The Netherlands Organisation Start Kata Kumite Stichting Karate-do SAN. Tournament starts at 9:00 pm. Starting times for the different categories: visit our website at information will be available from June 15. Free choice kata. Minimal 2 different katas (white en yellow belt only 1 kata allowed). Mandatory: All protection according WKF rules. Brest protection for adolescent girls is advisable. Categories Youth = 7-17 year. All graduations. Adults = 18 year or older. All graduations. Closing date June 1, 2014 or 400 registered participants. This limit will strictly be maintained! Competitions Matchsystem: Only re-match for the losers of the 2 finalists. Kata : Kumite : Which format will be determined by age, graduation and sexe. Youth (7-15 yr.): 2 contestants together at the same time, flag system. Older then 15 yr: WKF system.. Which format will be determined by age, graduation, sexe, weight and length. All matches: WKF system. Note: 7 to 12 year max. 4 points / From 13 years old max. 6 points. Finals from 18 years, needs to be a difference of 8 points.

2 Men all catagories ( open class ) Ippon Shobu: Maximum 1 ippon or 2 waza-aris. No Re-match!!! For the winner Ippon Shobu a price of 250 euro!!! (Only at minimum of at least 12 participants! ) Match length: Kumite youth 1,5 minutes. Kumite adults 2 minutes. In case of too few contestants in a category, categories will be merged. Remark Each contestant is responsible for bringing thier own Red and Blue belt and protection material.
