3 Page 3 News and Updates From REV Teams REV 12B Season Kick-off Party The party started with the girls doing a service project for the community. They made 150 bologna and cheese sandwiches for The Sandwich Project ( which is a grass roots organization in the Twin Cities. It was established with the goal of helping to feed 150 homeless people in Minneapolis as many times a year as possible, with the ultimate goal of doing it everyday of the year. Today, they are helping to feed about 4,500 people per week through various shelters and food shelves. After the service project it was time for some Halloween fun! The girls decorated pumpkins and cookies and also had a pizza party. Then it was time for a coaches meeting and some skills development. The party was a success in that the girls got to know each other better away from the rink and they did something good for their community. All in all it was a good day for the team!
