To participate, getting all of my entrees together anticipating how many ribbons can be won. My brain goes into a tizzy starts working as never before wondering for Pete s sake. What are these hands capable to create. I love all of the different departments in the Education Building so grand. The fresh flowers, the garden veggies and homecanned. Not to mention the baked goods so sweetly planned. The beautiful photos and talented art work displays. The Clothing Department with the perfect, straight seams with no raw edges to be seen. The forestry department with all of the different items of wood so creatively arranged. There is wood décor also made from nature unchanged. But crafts is my favorite where my talents can soar. Trying to dazzle the judges adding up my ribbon score. So Fair Time is my favorite thing to do and I hate for it to end. But there s next year and I will be looking forward to Fair Time again.
