Lost at Berlin Imagine the heartbreak of going to pick up your project and finding it is gone! One young member is missing the sword he made as a 4-H project. It is about 2 feet long and is carved wood, with leather and sprayed black. If you accidentally picked up this missing sword, please call Mary at to arrange to get it back to its owner. Add-A-Bids at Berlin Fair The total amount brought in through Add-A-Bids this year was $20,535 with a total of 363 bids! Included in that total is $3,045. for the Staci Cheadle memorial feeder calf. Leaders can Ed Denhof for a list of the add-a-bids for their members so that they can send thank you notes. him at berlin4h@aol.com State 4-H Rabbit Show Results Rabbit Showmanship 5 th Individual, Junior Division: Shiloh Baareman 6 th Individual, Senior Division: Karah Baareman 8 th Individual, Junior Division: MaryJo Moelker Rabbit Breed Judging 2 nd Individual, Senior Division: Hannah Baareman Breed Identification 1 st Individual, Senior Division: Karah Baareman 4 th Individual, Junior Division: Shiloh Baareman 7 th Individual, Senior Division: Hannah Baareman Skill-a-thon 1 st Individual, Senior Division: Karah Baareman 4 th Individual, Junior Division: MaryJo Moelker 9 th Individual, Senior Division: Hannah Baareman Still Exhibit Projects at the Fairs Families are reminded that it is policy that all 4-H still exhibit projects MUST remain at the fair for the entire time specified by the fair board. Projects may only be picked up after the fair is over at the specified times. Failure to comply with this rule can and will result in premium checks being withheld. Survival of fairs is dependent on those members of the public who pay entry fees to come in to the fairs to see the displays and enjoy the fair atmosphere. If projects were taken home there would be no display for the public to enjoy and to learn about the wonderful experiences 4-H members are having in their clubs. Please respect the fair board rules and support their efforts to continue to provide us with fairs for exhibiting our projects. HAPPENINGS page 3
