The decision of the judges is final. 8. Entries will not be returned to the exhibitor. 11 LIVESTOCK RULES & REGULATIONS Reminder that the Shows will be at the Andrew County Fairgrounds in Savannah 1. All livestock and horse shows are open to youth 6 years of age thru 21 years of age as of January 1, Each exhibitor will be given a T-Shirt during registration. T-Shirt MUST be worn during the respective shows. For exhibitors in the horse show, T-shirt must be worn during games only. 3. TO ESTABLISH A BREED DIVISION, THERE MUST BE AT LEAST TWO (2) EXHIBITORS OR FIVE (5) OR MORE ANIMALS. Otherwise they will be shown in the Other class. 4. An entry may only be shown in breeding class or market class, not both. 5. Limit of three (3) market animals per exhibitor. Limit of two (2) animals per exhibitor per breeding class. 6. Exhibitor s animals will be released at the discretion of the Superintendent. Premiums will be mailed following the show. 7. All breeds and crosses will show together in market classes. The Superintendent will divide the class by size/weight, or where warranted, by number of entries. 8. See individual livestock pages for times of registration and show, as well as classes. 9. Exhibits must meet Missouri Department of Agriculture Health requirements. 10. Wood shavings are permitted in pen area. 11. The management assumes NO responsibility for loss or damage. However, all due precautions will be taken to insure safety. ALL ANIMALS MUST BE KEPT UNDER CONTROL. If you cannot keep animal under control and there is danger to spectators or other exhibitors, the superintendent may excuse exhibitor from show ring. 12. All animals must have a health certificate, even though an official veterinarian will be present for health examinations. Horses & mules require negative coggins test within the last 12 months. 13. ANY BEEF SHOWING EVIDENCE OF WARTS AND RINGWORM WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO SHOW. A certified veterinarian will make final judgment. 14. ANY LAMBS THAT SHOW EVIDENCE OF LIVE FUNGUS (BLEEDING OR WAXY) ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES. 15. All questions will be resolved by the Superintendents and a committee of their choice. 16. For all in horsemanship: UNDER MISSOURI LAW, AN EQUINE PROFESSIONAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR AN INJURY TO OR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN EQUINE ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES PURSUANT TO THE REVISED STATUTES OF MISSOURI (Missouri Eq. Statute Anno. Title XXXVI Chap.537). 17. Fee of $10 per exhibitor per species for swine, goat, sheep, beef, and dairy will be collected at time of entry. Pre-registration fee for the horse show is $15; day-of-show registration is $20. See Youth Horse Show bill in this book (bill and registration form are available at and follow fair links). 18. The livestock superintendents have right to change rules at their discretion as needed for the benefit of all. 19. NO CROSS ENTERING IN AGE DIVISIONS, YOU MAY ONLY SHOW IN YOUR CORRECT AGE DIVISION. 20. No straw is allowed on the grounds. Hay, sawdust and shavings are permitted. Sawdust will be provided. 21. Failure to comply with the above rules may lead to dismissal from the premises. The persons in charge of each event will follow the above rules. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! Contestants are not allowed to run in or out of the gate during timed events. Gates will be closed when contestant is completing their pattern. 7. Show committee reserves the right to make changes to the show bill until date of show. 8. Unless otherwise stated, the official 4-H Show rules will apply. 9.
