No responsibility for any ill effects suffered by exhibitors will be taken. REGULATIONS 1. The AWEBSA Constitution and Rules shall apply. Members and participants at shows must familiarise themselves with these available on the AWEBSA official webpage; Page 9 of 11

10 2. Bonus points: one (1) point earned by the exhibitor per every five (5) birds benched and passed by the judge at the National Show of the Association up to the maximum of five (5) bonus points; 3. Birds winning awards will have their rings verified; 4. Birds entered in wrong classes are entirely the responsibility of the exhibitor but can be corrected while benching still open before judging starts. 5. Entries not paid for will not be accepted. 6. Entry fees will be forfeited in respect of birds not benched. 7. No alterations to entries will be allowed after judging has commenced. 8. The show officials will ensure that all exhibits are properly cared for but will not, however, be responsible for any loss of, or damage to the birds or cages that may occur for any reason whatsoever either during the show or in transit to and from the show. 9. Whilst extreme care and attention will be paid to the exhibits whilst at the show, exhibits are entered at owner s risk. 10. No person shall be allowed to remove from the staging any exhibit except with the permission and in the presence of the Show Manager. This rule will apply throughout the duration of the show. 11. Photographing of exhibits by spectators is permissible but under no circumstances may the exhibit or the show cage be touched or removed from the staging. The appointed official photographer may move an exhibit to a safe room and transfer the exhibit into a photographic cage but only in consultation with the Show Manager who will delegate a steward to assist and with the agreement of the Exhibitor. 12. Only show officials and members of the AWEBSA Management Committee will be allowed in the designated and judging areas. 13. The public should be allowed in the general hall where at all possible to encourage membership and promote the hobby. 14. At shows where the public is allowed in the hall during judging extra security precautions should be taken. 15. Smoking and the use of alcoholic drinks in the vicinity where judging is taking place is strictly forbidden. The AWEBSA Code of Conduct will be strictly applied. DE-BENCHING 16. De-benching sheets should be collected from the Show Secretary directly after the prize giving on.(date) Page 10 of 11

At the announcement that de-benching may commence, birds are to be collected and an orderly queue formed by exhibitors with their birds and de-benching sheets at any exit point for booking out. 18. Exhibitors are requested not to remove any exhibit from the staging prior to the official announcement that de-benching may commence. STANDARD FOR SHOW CAGES. 19. Show cages must be clean as safe and comply as far as possible with the AWEBSA standard for show cages. 20. All exhibits MUST be benched with unmarked finger draw drinkers fitted to the show cages between the 1 st and 2 nd vertical wires, on the left hand side when facing the cage and resting on the 2 nd horizontal bar from the bottom of the wire front.
