2 Lachlan O Hara Lachlan is a 16 year old student from Lake Macquarie NSW. He is a hard working, honest and well mannered young man and is always ready to jump in and hit any challenge head on. Through his school (Cooks Hill Campus - Big Picture) he hopes to work towards achieving a Cert III in Motorsport in 2017, giving him a greater insight into the skills and knowledge required to be successful in the motorsport industry. Lachlan is currently racing in the 2017 Formula Vee NSW Championship and is currently leading the points for Rookie of the Year.

3 Lachlan's aspirations Lachlan has a strong passion for racing. His number one goal is to move into the top tiers of Australian Motorsport. He is currently one of the youngest competing in the Formula Vee NSW Championship and hopes to develop his skills quickly in this category. Lachlan s ability to read track conditions, feel car setup, and his experience from karting makes him confident in achieving sound results in his rookie year in open wheel racing.

4 2017 Goals In 2017 Lachlan will be competing in the NSW State Formula Vee Series which will consist of 9 rounds. He will also be competing at a race in Phillip Island and at Queensland Race way bringing us to a total of 11 races. He also hopes to be able to lease 1 round in the Toyota 86 race series. Running in the Formula Vee Series is a great stepping stone from karts to cars.

5 2017 Goals Newcastle will see the first time Newcastle will host the Supercars as the final round for the series. We are seeking support to raise the funds necessary to race in the Toyota 86 Racing Series support category. This is a great opportunity for a young local teen to participate in an event which will be televised worldwide. Being local, and the first time the event will have run in Newcastle will inevitably draw a good amount of media attention, which would be beneficial for any and all sponsors

We have also attended car shows and would be willing to promote any business via any media opportunities we gain. Racing is where and what he wants to go. 11 Sponsorship Funding Details Toyota 86 round lease through Deagle Motorsport (DMS) $8000 Includes race entry, new tyres for practice, new tyres for race, all communication equipment and data logging, pit team and equipment, race support, fuel DMS Toyota 86 test/practice days x 2 ($1500 each) $3000 Race/Track insurance $2000 Sponsorship funds will go towards all fees associated with the round including spares, preparation, training, test days, insurance, marketing, team apparel and actual race weekend
