1 2015 Lancaster Summer Swim League Division II Championship Swim Meet Date: Saturday July 18, 2015 Location: Manheim Community Pool General Rules & Information: 1. Manheim Swimming Pool is a six lane, 25 meter course 2. Current USS age group rules and LSSL rules apply 3. According to LSSL rules, place winner will be determined by times. Touch pad system will be the official time with plunger and stop watch as back up times. 4. Each swimmer is limited to a maximum of three (3) events. 5. No limit to team entries in an individual or relay event. 6. All starts will be via beeper/strobe starting system. 7. During the 8 & under and 10 & under relays, the second and fourth swimmer will be in water starts. Entries: Electronic entries should be submitted via Hy-Tek Team Manager file, no paper entries will be accepted. All Team Entries require a completed Team Entry Summary. Fees: $3.00 per entry; $12.00 per relay. Entry fees must accompany Team Entry Summary and are non-refundable. Make checks payable to Manheim Summer Swim Team. 2 Awards: Team trophies awarded for 1 st, 2 nd, and 3 rd, places. Individual Events: 1 st 4 th earn trophies and 5 th 10 th earn medals. (Heat Ribbon will be awarded to the 1 st place finisher in each heat.) Relays: 1 st 4 th earn medals and 5 th 10 th earn ribbons. Admission: $3.00 per person. Children under 6, accompanied by an adult admitted free. Heat sheet $4.00 which includes both sessions. Timers: Participating teams will be responsible for providing timer coverage for two (2) lanes during each session of the meet. Each team should provide 4 timers per session, and the timer change will come at the end of the backstroke event. Lane Assignments: Each team must provide their own stop watches for their timers. Free admission will be provided to all timers. Timers and volunteers must check in at the volunteer table at the spectator entrance. Lane assignments are the same for both sessions. No tents may be erected prior to 5:00 PM on Friday July 17 th. The Manheim Swim Team, Manheim Community Pool nor Manheim Borough will not be held responsible for equipment left at the site overnight. We ask that each team please police and clean up their area during and after the meet. All coaches, swimmers, and spectators should avoid parking in any posted NO PARKING areas. Cars will be ticketed for violations. A parking map has been attached indicating all the parking areas in and around the Manheim Community Pool complex.
