4 RULES 1. The Society's district includes a radius of 8 miles from Weobley Church, and all crops and livestock shown must be within this radius 2. The Society reserves the right to cancel any class if there are not more than three competitors in the class 3. Any and every matter in dispute shall be referred to the Committee of Management, whose decision shall be final and conclusive 4. Should any dispute arise as to the age of any Competitor in Class 3 such competitor must, if requested, produce his certificate of birth, at his own expense, or in default thereof shall forfeit the Prize Money awarded to him 5. All competitors to plough about three quarters of an acre in five hours. Depth stipulated in each class 6. Any competitor ploughing over the specified time will lose points at the rate of one point for each five minutes over time 7. A complaint of any description, lodged by a competitor, must be given in writing, with a deposit of 1 to the Society, which sum will be returned if the objection is sustained 8. The Society will not hold itself responsible for any loss or damage to exhibits, and accept no responsibility for any injury, loss or damage to persons or property 9. The Committee reserves the right to accept or refuse an entry 10. The Committee reserves the right to postpone the match, or to alter the amount of ground to be ploughed or the time to be taken, if they consider the conditions unsuitable, and every effort will be made to inform the competitor if such a step is necessary 11. The judges decisions in all cases are final 12. Society of Ploughmen s rules will be adhered to 13. All tractors to comply with all Safety Regulations 14. All machines to be insured 15. 4th prizes will be given to Class 2,3,7,8, 10a & 10b at Committee's discretion PLEASE NOTE All Tractors, Ploughs and any vehicles must be clean and free from all soil and seeds before arriving on site. 2
