Today we take on the Sutherland Sharks as we go in search of our first win of The last couple of weeks have seen us come so close to that elusive first victory and hopefully tonight we can change that trend and get our first three points on the board. 5 NPLNSW.COM.AU 1ST GRADE MATCH PREVIEW Bonnyrigg will be out to revive it s season when they host Sutherland Sharks on Saturday. It has been a difficult few weeks for Brian Brown s squad who have yet to taste victory after the opening five rounds. A return to their Bonnyrigg Sports Club home could be the perfect antidote for their struggles. One positive for the White Eagles has been Aaron Peterson s return to form. Sutherland are also coming into the match after a poor showing with a 3-0 loss to Sydney United 58 in Round 5. Grant Lee s side has been much improved this season with defender Jacob Tratt adding plenty of steel to their defence. Bonnyrigg are desperate for a win, while Sutherland will be looking to bounce back. Goals are likely in what is set to be an exciting contest. Peterson scored twice in last week s 3-3 draw after a returning to the lineup following a long battle with injury. 6 MATCH REVIEWS #NPLNSW Sydney FC 3 Bonnyrigg White Eagles 3 at Lambert Park A 90th minute Sam McIllhatton strike has rescued a dramatic 3-3 draw for Sydney FC as they fought back three times against Bonnyrigg White Eagles at Lambert Park on Saturday. Trailing 3-2 with time running out, the Sydney FC captain blasted into the back of the net to secure an unlikely point for his side after a topsy turvy clash. Bonnyrigg opened the scoring as Aaron Peterson claimed a first half double to give the White Eagles a 2-1 lead at the Interval. Hassan Jalloh and Patrick Flottman fired back for they Young Sky Blues before Bonnyrigg s Jewook Woo had Brian Brown s side on the cusp of a much needed victory. However, twice in two weeks Bonnyrigg has dropped points at the death with McIllhatton inflicting further injury on a struggling White Eagles outfit. Sutherland Sharks 0 Sydney United 58 3 at Seymour Shaw Sydney United 58 overcame Sutherland Sharks by a 3-0 scoreline in a scintillating clash at Seymour Shaw on Saturday evening. The match was riddled with audacious shots, brilliant goalkeeping, tricks, flicks, and a spot of controversy in what was a highly entertaining affair for the healthy crowd of spectators in attendance. Patrick Antelmi opened the scoring for the visitors late in the first half before a Chris Payne spot kick and yet another goal from the in-form Pani Nikas put the game beyond doubt in the second half. The triumph was United s third in a single week with their midweek FFA Cup win sandwiched in between last weekend s victory over the Young Sky Blues and tonight s clash. Jason Culina s well-drilled side got the job done once again on the night while Grant Lee s boys can hold their heads high after well and truly keeping themselves in the match before a late capitulation put the match beyond their reach. 6

After opening their campaign with a 1-1 draw at Rockdale, Nick Dimovski s reigning champions have won five in a row and wrestled the competition lead off Sydney United 58 with a 2-1 victory last Saturday. have to tighten their defence for Sutherland s visit, there is enough attacking potential in the likes of Milan Parenta and Dean Bereveskos for Bonnyrigg to frustrate the high-flying visitors. The Sharks are admittedly still not at their best and most cohesive yet, which is an ominous sign for the rest of the competition. James Temelkovski has made an inspired start to life at Seymour Shaw with six goals and several assists while there s plenty of goals and an abundance of squad depth at Sutherland s disposal. Sutherland will arrive at Bonnyrigg Sports Club having lost their last match of league football in round 16 last year and while it s certainly a formidable proposition for the White Eagles, it s a challenge Hamish Brown s side will look to meet front on. Bonnyrigg claimed a valuable point off Sydney FC in a crazy 5-5 draw at Lambert Park last week and although the White Eagles will clearly 11
