6 The American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive at Watkins Mill on Tuesday, December 22. If you are currently 16 years old or older and would like to donate, please see Ms. Squier in b102. Staff, if you are interested, send Ms. Squier an . There is an expedited process for staff that will help you donate within 1 planning period.

7 Students Against Bullying will be having a meeting Thursday, December 17th, during STEP in room B202. If you signed up during open Club Day, PLEASE come and bring a friend!! Hope to see you there!!

11 Come out and support Watkins Mill Spirit Night at Ledo Pizza in Montgomery Village tonight from 4pm to 10 pm. Dine in or carry out, BUT be sure to tell your server/cashier you re with WMHS, so we get 20 percent of sales generated by our school!

12 The (Japanese) ANIME CLUB will be selling PIZZA every Wednesday and Friday after school through SPRING 2016.

Youth & Government is a program that enables students to create bills on pressing issues in the DC community. 15 Ṭhe Minority Scholars Program would like to congratulate one of its founding members for winning the POSSE scholarship. Jacob Martinez will be attending the University of Wisconsin in the fall on a full scholarship valued at over $140,000! Congratulations, Jacob from your MSP family!

16 Our annual Alumni Day is December 23. We will welcome back the class of 2015 to visit with students and staff during STEP.

18 The Wolverines had another amazing win this past weekend. missing many swimmers, both the boys and girls team beat Paint Branch in all events. On the dive side, Ciara Griffith won the dive portion for the girls, scoring high points for WM. On the boys side, Matthew Hase, Sawyer Conklin, and Sam Gates swept the 200 free. The medley relay beat out Paint Branch by.06 seconds for the win!

19 On the girls side, Erika Wolf and Caitlyn Rishell dominated the 50 free, finishing ten seconds faster than the opponent. Naina Tsarni, Caitlyn Rishell, and Gabi Poggy swept the 100 breaststroke as well! Come support the wolverines at Germantown Indoor this weekend at 9:15 am.

20 Congrats to The Boys And Girls Varsity Basketball Teams on getting their first wins against Wheaton High School Yesterday. Big Shout out To Junior Kendale Sewell for shooting the game winning buzzer beater to beat Wheaton 60-57
