3 Good morning Watkins mill, if you are interested in auditioning for the Watkins mill talent show. Auditions are January 13th and 14th in the chorus room at 3pm sharp! For more information check the call board! Hope to see you there!

4 We have enjoyed the holiday season and will continue to but everyone doesn t share the holiday spirit so protect your belongings. Don t leave anything out. The locker rooms are prime targets for theft. Enjoy the holiday time.

5 All students that need student service learning hours. The next Family Food Market is Saturday January 16, Save the date! More info to come! Now for some wolverine sports

6 There are FREE flu vaccines for students in the Health Room. Stop by and pick up a permission form! If you have any questions please see Mrs. Caruso

7 . Attention all Juniors involved in class planning. There will be a very brief ten minute meeting in B200 at the very start of STEP on Wednesday (that s tomorrow). Please be there to receive your instructions on Prom Fundraising and a small holiday gift.

8 The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive at Watkins Mill today. If you signed please check your time so you can be in and out.

9 Attention all seniors! If you are interested in performing at graduation, please see Ms. Young in room B112. You may want to sing or read a poem, but you will have to audition if you want to perform. See Ms. Young by December 23rd and sign up to audition! Now lets see what s going in the carreer center.

10 Attention Juniors: Register now to take your college admissions tests in the spring. Stop by B118 during STEP to receive help registering. Attention Seniors: Now is the time to create your FSA ID that you will use in January when you submit your FAFSA, the Free Application For Federal Student Aid. If you know your social security number, stop by B118 during STEP today to get help creating it.

11 . Alumni Day is just one day away! Tomorrow, we welcome back the class of They will arrive at 11 and will be able to visit with their former teachers and classmates. They will be asked to leave at the end of STEP.

12 At 4th period, there will be a panel discussion with about 10 alumni for 9th and 12th graders in the auditorium. Feel free to bring your classes to the auditorium immediately after you take attendance. There is no official sign up and no official seating arrangement. Sit where you d like and please remain with your class for the duration of the period. All staff are encouraged to wear their college gear tomorrow.

13 Attention Juniors: You can register now for the April ACT which will be held here at Watkins Mill. Stop by B118 during STEP today if you need help registering.

14 Attention Seniors: Get your FSA ID now so that you can submit your FAFSA, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, in January. Stop by the Career Center tomorrow, Tuesday, during STEP or after school to get help. Bring your Social Security Number with you. Now for some sports

15 Both the boys and girls dominated the pool this last weekend. Dropping time in events and winning close races! On the boys side, Sawyer Conklin, Nathan Wright, and Jerome Naulgan swept the 50 freestyle. The 400 freestyle relay consisting of Nathan Hurt, Nahom Michael, Peter Orban, and Lowell Brophy won by 4 seconds. On the girls side, Caitlyn Rishell, Anona Orban, and MacKenzie Allen swept the 100 freestyle.

16 In the 400 freestyle relay, the girls out touched the Springbrook team by.08 seconds! The team consisted of MacKenzie Allen, Erika Wolf, Lauren Flandrau, and Khava Tsarni. Just some of the amazing swims and dives this past weekend. The undefeated Wolverines will take on Northwood and Kennedy at Germantown Indoor at 9:15 am on January 9th!

17 The first Varsity Poms Competition is January 9th at Northwest HS. Tickets are $5, you can by them from Coach Jordan or you can buy them at the door. Doors open at 10:00 am, the competition begins at 10:30 am. Please come out and support your Varsity Poms!
