6 Attention Students. Saturday school is continued to be offered here at the mill. If you need help with work, need help studying, or need more time to learn a subject Saturday school is the place to be. If you want to find out more come back to school on January 30th at 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM. There is a free breakfast from 8:15-8:30 for all students enrolled.

7 The freshman class is selling hot Krispy Kreme donuts and hot chocolate during exams at 12:15 in the front lobby. The sale starts this Friday and will end on Wednesday after the period 6 exam. Please get your hot chocolate and donut as you depart school. Hot chocolate is $0.75/cup, donuts are $1.00/donut or get a combination of hot chocolate and a donut for $1.50.

8 Attention Wolverines! Exams begin tomorrow so continue preparing yourselves! Freshman, remember that exams are cumulative so ask your teachers for help if there was some material that you weren't sure about during the school year.. Thank you

Student Government is taking pre-orders for chick-fil-a to be delivered to school after the 4th period exam on January 19th. You can order a chicken sandwich or an 8 count nugget for only $4. 10 Attention,! The magnificent WMHS Chamber Singers are holding auditions for NEXT school year on Thursday, January 20th. Chamber Singers IS a class period and does NOT require after school rehearsals often, which is perfect for people who are involved in other after school activities. Sign up to audition on the chorus room door and get the audition information.

11 Are you a horrible singer? Do you want to learn how to sing? Do you have a good attitude? The WMHS chorus wants YOU! If you are interested in joining the chorus classes other than the chamber singers, simply register for the classes with your counselors! No singing skills required. Seriously. No singing skills required. Simply register with your counselor.

12 To all students remember The Anime Club is selling Fresh, Piping HOT PIZZA, POCKY, and PRINGLES. Sales will be held Wednesdays and Fridays In the Main Lobby of the MILL at the end of the school day!!!

13 The. MVA Learners Permit test will be offered here at Watkins Mill on Saturday, January 30th at 12:00 noon. Please pick up permission forms in the main office.

15 To all college bound Seniors: Check out the blue scholarship bin in the College/Career Center. Several fraternities and sororities and civic organizations want to give you money but you have to apply. If you have at least a 3.0 cumulative weighted GPA and are going to MC next year, pick up the Board of Trustees Scholarship. Additional scholarships can be found on the College/Career Center page.

16 Seniors, Get free help submitting your FAFSA on Wednesday, January 20 after the 6 th period exam. Space is limited. Sign up in the College/Career Center as soon as possible.

17 There will be a college fair featuring over 60 historically black colleges on February 17 th at Paint Branch High School. All high school students and parents are welcome to attend. Stop by the College/Career Center for more info.

18 Juniors, remember now is the time to sign up for the April ACT and Writing that will be offered here at Watkins Mill. Sign up online at actstudent.org. See your counselor if you think you might qualify for a fee waiver. Now for some wolverine sports
