Our committee and several parents are doing a wonderful job of resetting and repairing the Cross Country Course. You will see many of the jumps have changed position, this is mainly for our Club Horse Trail coming up but also our Committee along with the Westcoast Adult Riding Club and the Friends of Elcho have purchased Spiral lockdown pegs for all the Cross Country Jumps making them extremely safe from falling over or becoming dislodged. Thanks for the wonderful job to these people you have worked so hard. The draw for our Mini HT Rally Sunday will be up on the website for you tomorrow after 1.00pm. We will also put the dressage tests for you to have a look at if you haven t done so already. This rally is for fun on Sunday there is no pressure and you are all winners!!! It will prepare some of you that may be competing in our the HT coming up. This is the last day you can go on the Cross Country Course if you are entering it on the 15th April. Remember that the Course will be closed to competitors of our HT from Sunday night after Rally. If you are seen to be one the course you could be eliminated from the HT on the day. I would like to say it has been a pleasure once again covering the DC position for CMPC. I m sure the person who takes on the job will enjoy it just as much as I do, you kids are great to have at our club and the pleasing in seeing you improve and having fun, that is what it s all about. This is my last report so from your OLD DC, remember to give your new DC all your support, keep up the good work, keep those boots clean and your gear oiled, work on those certificates and learn as much as you can. 2 PRESIDENT S REPORT What a big rally we have this month. Mini Horse Trials AGM at lunchtime Day Light Savings ends Turn your clocks back 1 hour. CMPC Horse Trials April 15th See you all at muster Sunday morning. Adrienne Groups Gear Check Gear check is now in groups. The posts to indicate where to wait will be changed to Group Names and spread out over the front of the Show Jumping arenas as usual. Could whoever is first to their group collect the appropriate Gear Check Folder, a pen and a Hi-Vis vest from the table at the front of the clubrooms and return to their rider. Everyone will be doing each other s gear check so begin to make yourself familiar with the gear check form. When the next person arrives please swap to do each other s gear. We will have someone assist each group of Gear Check this month and until we have had some training for everyone. Thank you Adrienne

Gear Check Group Leaders in high visability vests will assist to run groups through Gear Check. Please be prompt for Gear Check as instructors will begin teaching at am Sharp. No Rider can start with their group until their Gear Check is complete, this includes a signature from your parent or Guardian. A parent MUST be in attendance when you are getting gear check please. Any rider leaving early for the day please inform DC Ebony or CI Kez & your instructor and then sign out at the office. GRADINGS MUST BE BOOKED IN BY ING dc@cmpc.org.au NO LATER THAN FOURTEEN DAYS PRIOR TO RALLY, FILL OUT A GRADING SHEET WHICH CAN BE DOWNLOADED FROM OUR WEB SITE and BRING COMPLETED FORM ALONG TO NEXT RALLY. Certificate books : Could you all please bring your books to Pony Club every rally as you may be refering to them at some stage, whether it be riding or in theory sessions.
