3 Remembrance Service All are welcome to join the Parish for the Remembrance service at 9.30 St Michael s Church, Woodham Walter this Sunday. The winners of the poetry slam competition held in class four were Archie Smith and Harry Lee- closely followed by runners up Elinor Lee Ranson and Hannah Gray. The Voice In My Head When I grow up all I ll need is imagination. When I think about the future, in a way it s a blank page waiting to be covered, With pictures, noise and colours. That page will be filled by me I can feel it (sixth sense?) Maybe I ll design Fifa 26 (with robots?) Maybe I ll create a mint flavoured Twix (hope, out the window) Maybe I ll be an astronaut exploring deep in space (blackness) Or maybe I ll be a wrestler punching people in the face (bullying, ever heard of it?) Maybe I ll be a youtuber with millions of subscribers (and be driven insane by cameras) However cameras are my friends. Maybe I ll be a beast of a driver (you mean a beastly driver) Or a pro footballer scoring top corner goals (in your dreams literally) Literally awesome you mean. Or possibly an epic engineer (there s nothing epic about you) And there was nothing epic about that comeback. Or a magic mathematician (there s nothing magic about you re maths) So grumpy what should I be? Boring and over ambitious as usual Poem written by Harry Lee and Archie Smith (Year 6)
