3 Abou he Summi Racing EDRS Series Guidelines published by Speedgroup The purpose of his documen is o describe he series regulaions and ac as an aid o organizers and compeiors acive in he series. The guidelines documen is published once per year. If necessary he documen will be updaed during he season. Informaion abou his will be published a hp:// 1. Abou he Summi Racing EDRS Series The Summi Racing EDRS Series is operaed by Speedgroup. The inenion wih he series is o combine naional/divisional racing wih inernaional racing, o creae an aracive series boh for eams who wish o ravel longer disances as well as hose who prefer o race closer o home. As here are many differen compeiion classes, also organizers which operae evens a non-permanen racks wih a limied rack preparaion can paricipae in he Summi Racing EDRS Series by running appropriae classes. 1.1 Calendar 2018 Published a Summi Racing EDRS Series websie: 2. Summi Racing EDRS Series Divisional (Jr Dragser, Pro ET) 4.1 Coun he bes 4 Evens - Poins from he 4 bes even couns in he poins sysem - Two evens ou of he 4 couned can be run ouside he home division. 4.2 Division Winners & Awards - New 2018 A division winner per class per will be decided. Top 3 per class in he division are awarded wih rophies. Also a porion of a series prize fund and any class parners funding in classes where applicable (Even, Series and class parners funding are conneced wih membership in Speedgroup Drivers & Riders Club). 4.3 Home Division The driver/rider selec heir home division a or by ing he poins coordinaor carl-erik.kihlman@ (please sae class, race number and name). The home division can be any division of he drivers/riders choice - for 2018 i means division Norh or Cenral. Drivers/riders, who do no acively choose a home division, will have heir home division based on he geographic locaion of heir home address. Deadline for selecion of home division is before he second even he driver/rider akes par in sars. 5. Summi Racing EDRS Series Non Divisional Coun he bes 5 evens, if a class has fewer evens han five; all evens are o be couned. Basic poin calculaion is idenical wih he poins sysem used for he divisional series. Classes included: Car classes: Pro Modified, Top Doorslammer, Super Pro Sree, Pro Sree, Sree, Compeiion Eliminaor, Sock/Super Sock, Super Pro ET, Super Comp, Super Gas, Super Sree Moorcycle classes: Super Comp Bike, Super Sree Bike, Super Gas Bike, Jr Bike 6. Poins Calculaions Summi Racing EDRS Series Round 1s 2nd 3rd 4h 5h Final R/U Winner Field Exra Poins In SST, SG, SC, SGB and SCB he compeior earn 20 exra poins (max once per even) if he/she during qualifying is he firs one in ha caegory o make a pass exacly on he caegory index. The same is applied in he classes Pro ET and Super Pro ET when a compeior during qualifying is he firs one in he caegory o make a pass exacly on he seleced dial-in ET. Example #1: If a Super Gas compeior during qualifying runs 9,900 (1/4 mile), hen he/she earns 20 exra poins. Example #2: If a Pro ET compeior during qualifying se as he dial-in ET and make a pass running exacly (1/4 mile), hen 20 exra poins are earned. 6.2 Qualifying poins In all caegories wihin he Summi Racing EDRS Series, he compeior earns qualifying poins, up o 16, depending on he qualifying posiion. This calculaing mehod is used also wih less han 16 qualified compeiors. Always 16 poins o No 1 qualifier. Example: No 1 qualifier 16 poins, no 2 qualifier 15 poins, no 3 qualifier 14 poins and so on. A enry fields of 17 vehicles or more, poins are only awarded o he op 16 qualifiers. 6.3 Poins, nonqualifying A compeior is awarded 20 poins if he/she is no qualified bu has made a valid qualifying run. 6.4 Poins, cancelled class If he class is cancelled before qualificaion, presen compeiors in he cancelled class will be award- 4

5 ed 50 poins. The enry lis from he organizer is valid (he vehicle has o pass he ech inspecion). 6.5 Poins cancelled even If he even is cancelled before eliminaion s, all qualified compeiors will be awarded 50 poins in addiion o qualifying poins. If he even is cancelled beween eliminaion rounds, all remaining compeiors in he ladder will be awarded nex round s looser poins. Example: If i sars o rain and he even is cancelled afer round 1, all in he ladder remaining compeiors will be awarded 70 poins. If he even is cancelled in he middle of a round, all compeiors remaining in he ladder a he sar of he curren round will be awarded he curren round s looser poins and he pairs in his las round ha have run will be cancelled. 6.6 Poins a disqualificaion Compeiors ha are disqualified are awarded all earned poins up o he poin of disqualificaion if no oherwise decided by Speedgroup. 6.7 Compleed even All evens are compleed one-by-one. Cancelled evens canno be held a anoher even. 6.8 Esablished poins sandings The poin sandings are considered esablished 10 days afer he even if no oherwise decided by Speedgroup. EDRS Pro Nordic Pro Modified, Pro Sree and Sock Super Sock 7.1 A Nordic series in he series will be run In he classes Pro Sree and Sock Super Sock poins are awarded also in he regular Summi Racing EDRS Series poins able for drivers paricipaing in any of he below evens. 6 7.3 Addiional Poins 50 poins o all conesans, one qualifying run required. Drivers who has paricipaed a all (4) EDRS Pro evens are awarded wih exra 100 poins afer he final couning. 7.4 Poins, General All poins are awarded o he driver and canno be ransferred under any circumsances. Poins are no ransferable from one caegory o anoher. 7.5 Poins, Alernaes Once qualifying has been concluded and a ladder has been esablished, pairings will no be changed. However, should a qualified car and driver be unable o make he firs round of eliminaion (no reach he bleach box), an alernae will be insered in heir place. The quickes non-qualifier will ake he firs available space, he second quickes non-qualifier he nex available space and so on. When and if his happens is a he sole discreion of he Clerk of he Course. Firs round poins will be kep by he qualified driver. If an alernae driver is insered bu is eliminaed in he firs round, no poins will be awarded. If he alernae is eliminaed in he 2nd round, or laer, he poins from he firs round will be deduced 7.6 Poins, Cancelled Class If he class is cancelled before qualificaion, presen compeiors in he cancelled class will be awarded 20 poins. 7.7 Poins, Cancelled Even If he even is cancelled before eliminaion s, all qualified compeiors will be awarded 20 poins in addiion o qualifying poins. If he even is cancelled before any qualificaion has aken place, he compeiors who successfully passed ech inspecion will be awarded 50 poins each. If he even is cancelled beween eliminaion rounds, all in he ladder remaining compeiors will be awarded nex round s looser poins. Example: If i sars o rain and he even is cancelled afer round 1, all in he ladder remaining compeiors will be awarded 40 poins. If he even is cancelled in he middle of a round, all compeiors remaining in he ladder a he sar of he curren round will be awarded he curren round s looser poins and hose pairs in his round ha has raced will be cancelled. 7.8 Poins A Disqualificaion A compeior who is disqualified is awarded all earned poins up o he disqualificaion if no oherwise decided by Speedgroup 7.9 Compleed Even All evens are compleed one-by-one. Compeior wih mos wins in evens. 2. Compeior ha is awarded mos poins by he following wins: Even winner 5 poins Runner up 3 poins Semi Finalis 2 poins Quarer Finalis 1 poin 3. The Championship has also been graned saus as an official Nordic Championship by he moorcycle spors federaions in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. The Championship is also open for Non Scandinavian racers holding inernaional licenses. Dispue / Separaion of Compeiors a he End of Series If more han one compeior should have equal poins a he end of series, is he finishing order decided by he following order and rules: 1. Compeior wih mos wins in evens. 2. Compeior ha is awarded mos poins by he following wins: Final winner - 5 poins Final looser - 3 poins Semi looser - 2 poins Quarer final looser - 1 poin 7

8 3. Compeior wih mos won rounds wins a series evens. 4. Loery Dispues regarding poins calculaions are decided by Summi Racing EDRS Series Workgroup. Separaion of compeiors is only applicable on posiions Ladder Types & Field Sizes Pro-ladders mus be used in he classes: Pro Modified Pro Sree Super Pro Sree Sree Top Doorslammer Top Fuel Bike Pro Sock Moorcycle Super Twin Moorcycle Super Sree Bike For all oher classes Sporsman-ladders mus be used. The organizer can limi he field size for he eliminaions. Or, if he circumsances so demand, he number of acceped enries. If a limi exiss, i shall be indicaed in he inviaion o he even. In he classes where Sporsman-ladders are used, he goal is ha all enered compeiors can aend in he eliminaions. 11. Race number Prioriy In case wo drivers/riders in he same class claim he same race number a an even included in he Summi Racing EDRS Series, Speedgroup recommend organizers o give prioriy o series race numbers 1-10 (based on 2017 EDRS poins sandings) before Naional ranking race numbers. Inernaional Series are normally ranked higher han naional series/championships and i is also helpful for poins coordinaors o keep rack on drivers/riders poins. I is always up o he race direcors on sie o decide. 12. Cancellaion of even The organizer ogeher wih he jury has he righ o cancel he even or par of he even. If cancellaion is decided, all compeiors will be noified no laer han 24 hours before sar of scruineering. Incase of rain or oher exernal facors, he enry fee will be kep by he organizer. If he even is cancelled before or during semi-finals, no prize money will be paid. If he even is cancelled before or during he final, i is recommended ha 60% of he prize money will be paid ou. I.e. he oal prize money for he winner and runner-up in he affeced class is summed and 60 % of he oal amoun is shared beween he 2 finaliss. In case of round money, only compleed rounds will be subjec o paymen. Cancelled par of an even may no be compleed a a laer ime. 13. Alernaes Once qualifying has been concluded and a ladder has been esablished, pairings will no be changed. Speedgroup recommend even organisers* o adop a deadline of wo and a half (2,5) weeks before he even sars, for enry a normal fee. Laer enries and policies for cancellaion of enry a any poin o be decided by he organiser. All informaion applicable o be saed in he even inviaion. * Excep even organisers, where he FIA European Drag Racing Championship sporing regulaions mus be complied wih. Drivers & Riders Club - New 2018 Open for Summi Racing EDRS Series Drivers & Riders filled wih values! To receive (end of season) Series Prize funds op 3 ranked drivers/riders MUST be a member! Deadline for sign up 15 July Sign-up and paymen for EDRS Drivers & Riders Club is made hrough Regisraion fee EDRS Drivers & Riders Club 2018: 60/SEK590 senior and 35/SEK350 junior o he 18h year. New 2018: A 15% discoun is offered o drivers and riders who make heir regisraion for EDRS Drivers & Riders Club a he laes March 31s. The regisraion funcion opens a eu on February 10h. Even Prize funds: To be eligible for payou of even prize funds a any individual even included in he Summi Racing EDRS Series, he driver/rider mus be regisered and have paid he annual fee conneced o EDRS Drivers & Riders Club. End of season series funds: The op 3 ranked drivers and riders are eligible for a par of he series prize funds for he class he/ she has compeed in, provided he regisraion o Drivers & Riders Club is in order. 50% of he available class end of season amoun is reserved for he no.1 posiion, 30% for he runner-up and 20% for 3rd posiion. Drivers canno claim funds for any oher posiion han heir own ranking and based on he esablished final poin sandings. Funds for any op 3 non-regisered drivers/riders is kep by Speedgroup and used in he series operaion. The amoun each regisered driver is eligible for is dependen on he oal number of enries he class has produced during he season. Payou is made in form of a ravel fund conribuion. A ravel declaraions form mus be filled in and send o Speedgroup before he funds are paid ou. 9

Speedgroup Coningency Program The aim wih he Coningency Program for parner companies is o marke heir producs and increase heir brand visibiliy, and a he same ime award heir successful cusomers. The sponsoring companies give ou an award (price check or gif cerificae) o he winner and runner up in each class hey have chosen o sponsor, a each even in he coningency calendar. The racers are always required o have decals from he parner company well visible on boh side of he vehicle. To become eligible for sponsor awards, compeiors mus also be in compliance wih he curren Summi Racing EDRS Series-, EDRS PRO MC- or FIA rulebook. The price checks are awared o he finaliss a he price giving ceremonies a each even in he coningency calendar. The coningency program is adminisraed by Speedgroup. The use of he even enry sysem is free of charge for organisers. I is advised and srongly recommended ha i is used by all organisers operaing wihin he EDRS Series sysem. The sysem provides he organiser wih informaion abou each driver and eam useful for sewards and rack announcers working a he evens. Organisers using he Time Tree ime keeping sysem can also publish insan resuls as par of he dragracing.eu services. Organisers using anoher iming sysem can files o lelle@ niroz.se for upload a dragracing.eu. Each organiser has access o he dragracing.eu even enry sysem all year round and evens can be presened wih daes well in advance, before he organiser open enry for eams. Handling of enry fees is made hrough he sysem wih a variey of paymen opions for he drivers o choose from. We have one assigned media officer for he series (Lena Perés), who says in conac wih individual organisers well before he even o plan promoion and reporing from he even. Each organiser is given access o publish news in he EDRS Facebook group and wih assisance of Speedgroup media officer news from he organizer can also be published on EDRS websie (mainly in English). The assigned EDRS poins coordinaor couns poins from each even. Meeings are held once per week all year round. Feedback from organisers, eams, federaions and oher paries relevan o he series is evaluaed and discussed coninuously o ensure a srong and aracive series.
