TBD Chihuahuas season at a glance Chihuahua Bites PERDOMO, THREE RELIEVERS COMBINED FOR 3 SHUTOUT Luis Perdomo pitched six shutout innings, while Seth Simmons, Kyle McGrath and Robert Stock got the final nine outs in El Paso s 3 win over Sacramento on Friday night. The Chihuahuas offense gave Perdomo a lead before he even stepped on the mound, as they mounted a tworun, first inning rally, highlighted by RBI singles from Austin Hedges and Carlos Asuaje. With Perdomo holding the Sacramento bats at bay, Hedges again came through in the third with an RBI double, extending the lead to 3. That would be all the support Perdomo would need, as the righthander scattered only three hits and two walks, while striking out seven in six shutout innings. After departing, Seth Simmons worked around two baserunners in the seventh, while Kyle McGrath pitched a perfect eighth and Robert Stock recorded his seventh save of the season by recording the final three outs. HEDGES REHAB Austin Hedges has hit safely in five straight games since joining the Chihuahuas on his current rehab assigment and six overall games.
