Franco last pitched on April 12 in Wilmington and worked into the fifth while allowing three runs and six hits over four and 1/3 innings. Franco walked two and struck out five his last time out, but was much improved compared to his first start on opening night in Salem when he allowed nine runs and 12 hits over two innings.
