5 Letter from the Baron & Baroness Greetings unto the fair Barony of Fenix from your Baroness, returned only last night from War! This has been a very busy and exciting past few weeks for us. His Excellency was able to travel ahead of His Royal Highness, Alric, to Estrella War. Local friends assisted in seeing to shelter and hospitality; they fought together with their hosts; and a great time was had by the small but mighty Midrealm contingent. I, as I said, have only just returned from Gulf Wars, where nearly all of Midrealm in attendance came together in a wonderfully vibrant and friendly camp. We fought, worked, attended classes, shopped, ate, and gambled together. The entire Royal Family was in attendance, and they were the source of so much inspiration to all of us and they are genuinely wonderful people to get to know a little better by sharing a camp. As much fun as we have attending local Midrealm events, it seems to be the far-off events we travel to together that make some of the best memories. I know we will treasure the memories of these recent travels for a long time to come, and we most heartily encourage all of you to take advantage of these opportunities whenever you can. (I really want to bring all of you with me to Gulf Wars next year!) Homecoming has been sweet, and I can t wait to see you all more in this coming season as we fight and camp together as much as possible. Love you all, Sárnat, Baroness Fenix & Ulf, Baron Fenix 5

The Fire of the Fenix cannot be extinguished Long days in the kitchen to feed all our guests Good food on the table Good drink in our vessels Raise a toast to the cooks and the servers tonight The Fire of the Fenix cannot be extinguished Long hours of labor that bring us delight Our artisans working So often alone But their work brings us beauty to lighten our hearts The Fire of the Fenix cannot be extinguished In the feast hall we sing of the battles we ve won The music is playing Our partners are waiting Come dance together to the sound of our hearts 7
