1 When the bird, proud of its plumage, grows up among the plants, when its life is renewed, young, full of grace, then, swift in limb, from the dust it gathers its body, the remnant of the burning, which the fire destroyed before. Artfully it collects the bones, crumbled after the stress of the fire; and then The puts together Phoenix again bones and ashes, the leavings of the flame; and spreads with plants that spoils of death, richly arrayed. Then it is driven to seek its own home once more. Then with its feet it lays hold of the Sacred Stone of the fire, clutches it with its claws and joyously seeks again its home-land, sunny haunts happy native country. All shall be made anew, its life and feathery dress, as it was in the beginning, when first victorious noble placed it in the noble plain. It brings there its own bones, the ashes too, which the surge of fire embraced before the funeral pile. Then the valiant bird buries the bones and ashes all together in that water-land. The sign of the sun is renewed for him, when the light of the sky, brightest of jewels, the best of noble stars, shines up from the east over the sea. - It is not sluggish nor slothful, dull nor torpid as some birds who wing their way slowly through the air, but it is speedy and swift and very alert, fair and winsome, and gloriously marked. - The people behold in wonder at how faithful its people are.

Event Season has descended with so many wonderful offerings, it is so hard to pick which to attend, let alone attend them all!! There is no fee for attending the meeting (starts at 11:00 AM). It will be held in an area with tables and chairs. If you are going to remain after the meeting for fighter practice, A&S gathering, social time, or pool time* the fee is $5 and will be collected upon completion of the meeting. * use of the pool is an additional $5 per person Directions: 742 Jericho Rd, Harmony, NC 28634; I-77 to exit 65 (HWY 901). If you bring newcomers to an event, or know of individuals whom are new to our Society, PLEASE make them known to Us.. We are so excited to meet those who have found the group which We love so much, and wish to welcome them and thank them for spending their time with Us. We are currently collecting items for various Gift Baskets, the First of them being for Their Newly Crowned Majesties, which we will be giving to them at Crown TournamentG If there is anything you would like to donate, please contact either Lady Argent or Baroness Alianor. If you donate handmade items, please make sure to attach a card with your name and contact information. Please help Us show off everything that Sacred Stone s artisans and populace can do. Another reminder: Please send in your Baronial Award recommendations. We get so few, until right before an event.. We would love to be able to give folks scrolls, but the artisans need time to create these wonderful works, so all lead time you can give us is most appreciated.. The online award system was taken down, as the site is migrated to the new format, but hopefully it will be back up soon. In the meantime, please send all recommendations to a.redswanne@gmail.com. Also, please know that anyone can send in Kingdom recommendations. With the start of a new reign, resending a recommendation may be what is needed to bring something to the eye of the Crown.
