Anni Wunderlich, President. Hello everyone: I hope you all had a very pleasant Thanksgiving, now it s time to prepare for Christmas. Where did this year go? Well, our Halloween dance, which fell on the actual night October 31, was a lot of fun and very well attended with most dancers in costume. The King, Neil Hale aka Dracula, did his usual outstanding job as DJ. Check out the photos on pages 4 and 5. November 7 was our Sock Hop dance with popular DJ s, Mike and Joyce. This was also very well attended, and was held at the Community United Church in San Carlos, as was the Halloween dance. Our Harvest Ball on November 21, was back at Barrett, and Neil the King was once again DJ. Diana and Tina will be the DJ s. Then it s our Christmas dance on December 19. Jamie usually DJ s this dance, but she recently had a hip operation (which was a great success), and will be out of action for a while. However, Neil kindly stepped in for us. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy for our Toys for Tots collection. If you raise your eyes to the top of this page, you will notice that we now have a new website address; I won t go into all the details how this came about, but I will tell you that our Webmaster, Shirley Sellers, worked on our new website for many, many hours. I urge you to check out our new website, Shirley has done a fantastic job. THANK YOU, Shirley, we are so lucky to have you. RED HOT GLITZ AT THE RITZ is fast approaching, so please, please get your reservations in; it would make my life much easier if you got them in by December 16. Thanks.
