2 Yetta Hey Princess Dads and Daughters, Trail Boss Letter: Well, it s January and it s time for my first letter. First off, my daughter Ashley and I want to welcome our New Sky Members. The Chepi, The Night Owls, The Shooting Stars, The Sky Fliers, and The Cloud Walkers. By now, you re well on your way with your vests and logos, as well as getting to know each other. The last few months have been crazy for you, I know. But just relax; now it s fun time. We would also like to welcome back everyone from the Fire, Sun and Forest territories. We have plenty of stuff planned this year for everybody to enjoy, so make sure you check this year s calendar and clear the dates for the things you want to go to. Good luck to the outgoing Sky Territory. The last 4 years sure flew by, didn t it? I got to know a lot of you in the past year and I can honestly say, I ll miss you. You guys made the New Fire feel welcome last year and really showed us what fun could be had with a little competition. Thank you for the contributions you have all made to the organization, each in your own way. I would like to also personally thank all of the 2011 Officers. You guys did a great job this past year. Ashley couldn t wait to tell mom how much fun she had at every event this year. That s the best way to judge. The laughing and smiling faces. Thank You. We have an outstanding 2012 Officer Corps. I m looking forward to working with you guys as we try to make each year better than the last. Welcome and thank you to the new officers as well. January usually sees us at the Induction Ceremony, sled fest and bowling. Unfortunately, bowling has been postponed so January will be a nice relaxing month. Well, that s if you consider sled riding with your daughters all night relaxing. I know I do. Ashley is already praying for lots of snow so we can go sledding. Since we don t have a very busy January, I think we should use the time to sell Mardi Gras raffle tickets! This is our only means of funding and the more money we raise, the less each event costs the membership. Then after selling all those raffle tickets, why don t you come to our Mardi Gras party in February? It s a good party and fun for all. Officers have tickets. If you do come to Mardi Gras, you ll need a sitter, It s ADULTS ONLY!!! Thanks again, and welcome to everyone!! Mark and Ashley Ruda 2012 Trail Boss Friends Always!

5 Tomahawks: Yetta Hey To All!! Thanks to everyone who made the Christmas party possible. It was a good time as usual. The Tomahawks turned out for the fluff raid And totally dominated the fluff song! Merry Christmas to all and have a safe new year s. We look forward to seeing everyone at the induction ceremony. Friends always - The Tomahawks Rising Dragons: T'was the month of December and all through the post, dragon princesses prepared expecting the most. Bacon replaced by tacos, pizza and cookies so hardy, Rising Dragons partook in the frontier Christmas party. There was Santa, pinatas and a clown called Pepper Jack, his whimsical balloon menagerie, we'll surely go back. But the end was fast approaching the afternoon winding down, all fathers were tired and whipped waiting for that silly clown. Now the month's end draws near, fathers fast-selling their tix, winning the lodge for our outpost, winter blues it will fix. I will drop off our money at the officer's meeting, no need to come early, there is always seating. One final outpost meeting remains for the year, we'll meet at the Cicero's to share holiday cheer. Planning for next year, bowling, winter camp & sledfest, now in our second year, you will witness Dragon best. I am sure you are asking, will this poem ever end? It does in two lines, a good wish we will send. The first year behind us was such a delight, "Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!" Wildfires : Girls had a great time knocking around the Pinata s at the Xmas party. The spicy tacos and cold ice slushies went over well. The adventure continued with the Fluffing raid. The small, but mighty band of Wildfires conquered the challenges. Wildfires wishing everyone a Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays. Fireflies: The girls had a great the Christmas Party and fluff Raid. We look forward to our second year in the organization and welcome the new Sky members. Thanks to all the outgoing officers for all their hard work and leadership to help our organization be the best it can be. We appreciate your dedication. We are looking forward to the induction Ceremony, Sled-fest and Mardi-Gras. As well as our Second Winter Camp! Friends Always! The Might Fireflies Rule! The rules are simple: 1. If your outpost is in the Forest, Sun or Fire Territories, you will get 1 entry per $100 worth of tickets and/or ads you turn in by Dec 31 st. 2. If your outpost is in the New Sky, you will get 1 entry per $75 worth of tickets and/or ads you turn in by Dec 31 st. 3. The more you turn in, the more entries you get. See Simple 4. Now, why do you want to win it? That s easy. It s sweet. Plus it has bathrooms inside and a fireplace. Need I say more? This drawing will also help determine horseback riding sign ups and other lodges if your outpost wins them. So sell your tickets and ads fast, turn them into your scout and hope you re the winning outpost come January
