1 FRIDAY 18TH MAY 2018 BANDS - please, all students meet in Music room straight after interval. We will discuss and understand the timetable for the remaining weeks (Fridays) of term 2. Not all bands can practise / play at once (lack of space this year) therefore, you will get a band practice once every three weeks. Today was scheduled for Emily s band, but she is at bowls today, therefore we will reshuffle. Teachers - some students will be returning to your class by approximately 11:00am. Library Please follow up on finding your overdue books and return to the library today. THURSDAY 17th MAY, 2018 PINK DAY TOMORROW This means pink shirt day and is an anti bullying initiative. The expectation is that students wear pink so that it is obvious. A reminder that it is NOT a mufti day but a PINK SHIRT day. Give your gold coin donation to your teacher in the morning. Elite Ultimate Frisbee Can I please have the team on the field ready to train at lunch today. Reminder there will be no training at morning tea or lunch tomorrow, but there will be an 8am training before school on the field. Netball - This Saturday s draw is up on the hall window. Please check the time and court you are playing on. You should now be playing competition games in your correct grade (only 1 game - 4 x 10 minute quarters). Good luck to all the teams. 3 Mountain Biking If you are a competitive mountain biker please meet Mr Jennings at cricket pitch at interval If you want to pull out of an activity or team you have been selected for it is very, very important, polite and respectful to the activity/team and the coach/teacher that you let them know as soon as you can so you can be replaced. Is your bike LOCKED!? You need to wear a helmet if you are biking to and from school. They are unnamed so you will need to tell him brand and size to claim them please. WEDNESDAY 16th MAY Elite Ultimate Frisbee - Can the following please meet in Room 11 at lunchtime today before we head out for training. Make sure you are in your PE gear. 14, Sabbath 3, Maddy 7 and Rebecca 2. Boys: Tristan 2, Gene and Kameo 15, Oskar, Finn, Richard, Daniel, James and Loughie 17, Jackson 11, Kylen 3. CHOIR STUDENTS all 40 of you...please meet with Mrs Pearce for an important meeting today at 12:30 in the Music room. This will be a very quick meeting but you all DO need to attend. Lost Property - there are a large number of items again accumulating this term in Rm 8. It seems some people don t care and don t bother checking for their misplaced items. There is a full PE uniform named with Parker on both pieces, There is also a white frisbee with a Just 4 Fun label on it. Please see Mr Logan if they are yours. Gymnastics: Please come and see Miss Osborn for 2 minutes at interval today about up-coming competitions. Rhianna Rangitaawa Rm18- you NEED to come to this meeting if you want to be considered part of the team!!

There will be a practice for the Friday Elite team tomorrow lunchtime. Please ensure you are there or you could be replaced! - many were missing on Monday! ALSO all those students from rooms 5, 12, 14, 15, 18 who showed interest by writing their names down in the hall at your Have a Go lesson last Thursday - please come too. I need another player for Friday. IF IT IS RAINING - only interested students from rooms 5,12,14,15, 18 to come over. Travel Safe Leaders Cindi is meeting with us today after sit down lunch in Room 19 AIMS Aerobics team Quick meeting in Rm 19 at interval please. JUMP JAM!
