3 PRESIDENT.....Florence Bell We have had two wonderful fund raisers recently. Thanks to Alice [Bubbles] Marcotte for chairing our visit to the Attic Theater. We all had a great time. The next one is scheduled for May 31st to see 9 to 5 The Musical. Get your tickets early as we only have 50 to sell. Our biggest fund raiser was chaired by Terry and Lydia Kinkelaar. They have been working on the Garage sale for a month or more. It was a great success. Paul and Alice Baldwin allowed us to invade their home to have the sale. They also worked so hard at the sale. Bill and Tereasa Betz, Mike and Cheri Root, Carol Woodcock, Vel Straub, Jennifer [from our class], Margo and Dave, Alice Marcott, Don Wragg and all worked to make it a success. Thank you all. Also, thank you to everyone who donated items. We will be meeting for dinner at 5:15 before our club dance. We need help in setting up the hall at 6:30 and to put things away after the dance. Thank you all for the visitation turnout. Also thanks to all you Angels that show up for the class every week. We have the best CLUB. Your Pres., Membership update: Florence Membership... We have 17 students and 30 Rustler Angels and about Visiting Angels. Everyone seems to be having a good time. Charlie Robertson makes the class so much fun. We had our first class level dance and potluck. There was so much good food and the dancing was a blast. The students got to know what a dance was like. Our Sheriff Jay said no fines that night. Watch out in the future. Many fines to be had. I look forward every week to our class. I love to see all there smiling faces. There enthusiasm is off the charts. Thanks, Carol VP... Treasa & Bill Betz I want to thank everyone for bringing the cookies to the March Dance. When we have a lot of leftovers I take those to the class on Tuesday night so if you didn't see your particular contribution at the dance, it was put to good use. The class members appreciate the treats. Our dance this month is the Chocolate Lovers Dance so remember to bring your chocolate items. Our May dance is the Surf City dance and we would like the members to bring either fruit or veggies. Please make sure they are cut into serving size pieces. Bill and I are leaving for our travels at the end of this month so we won't be seeing you for about 6 months. Please continue to help Linda and Bud Carpenter, who are taking over for us. Club Outfit Hi Rustlers, Well, the first wave of our club outfits have been picked up and delivered. Everyone seems to be real pleased with the outfits. Now its time to get the second wave ordered. We need at least 6 orders for Square Up Fashions to be able to make the outfits. So lets get them in so we can go dances and show off our new club outfit! Our new class will be able to order a club outfit. So they can wear it at our Graduation. Thanks! Penny ACTIVITIES Forty-five Rustlers and friends turned out for our fundraiser to see the Mikado. There were a lot of laughs and was enjoyed by everyone. Afterwards, a group when out for dinner. Thanks also to those who sold tickets and to Lydia Kinkelaar and Penny Peltz for their donations for door prizes. We have scheduled another play for May 31st at the Attic Theater. This one will be the musical NINE TO FIVE. What s it about.well Based on the memorable film, 9 to 5 tells of office manager Violet, who joins her fellow co-workers frazzled divorcée Judy and sexy secretary Doralee - to turn the tables on their sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot of a boss. Sounds interesting. Remember family and friends are invited to join us. Tickets are $19.50 and will be sold at the class and this months Rustler dance. Will also have door prizes. Thank you!
