My allergies are in their full glory. My clocks have "sprung forward". Mike is wearing shorts. Come to think of it, he never stopped wearing shorts. Whatever - I actually believe that that miserable Winter of 2010/2011 is just about over! You know what that means? SOS Spring Safari is almost upon us. Dean and Mary Margaret have even started mixing their Roastie-Toasties and Woo-Woo Lucies. I truly hope that you all will find time in your schedules to help the Coastal Shag Club create a presence at this year's event. I'm sure there will be a gathering of us on Friday night at the OD Resort and Sunday afternoon at the OD Pavilion. Above all, I am appealing to you to participate in this year's club entry in the SOS Parade. We need a couple of convertibles and lots of people on the street. The pressure to perform is even greater this year. You know why? Our "cousins" over on Oak Island are actually using as a rallying cry to get their members to participate! "We can beat those people" was the cry that went up at their dance last week. Can you believe the audacity? We can't let that happen. Please participate. I promise a great time!
