A Big thanks to Hal White and Tony Gardner for organizing the trip to Pioche and St. George. We were unable to drive our Model A s in the heat, but it was a great me for all who a ended. Thank you to Bill and Kathy Williams for their hospitality and se ng up the tours in Pioche. Dennis Rutkoskie hosted us at his beau ful car museum in Washington, Utah and then lunch at his home. Thank you Dennis and Jackie. Upcoming events are the July 4th parade in Summerlin, and a barbeque and swimming party at Steve and Judy Collets. Those who would like to may bring a side dish. The August breakfast will be held at the Dra House on the 21th. Please see the tour schedule for details. Note from the editor: Due to poor health this will be my last newsle er. I contacted the sales manager of Friendly Ford and the dealership is willing to host our club showing our Model A's on their raised ramp and in front of their dealership.

Coffee and donuts have been requested along with matching hats for everyone. I think the hats would be great to show visitors who to ask ques ons.

This heat is terrible on car ba eries. So, drop everything right now and li up the metal plate on the floorboard of your beloved Model A and check the water level in your ba ery.

Some of you may remember this was done a number of years ago and was a great me to showcase our cars and our club without the distrac ons of a larger car show. Now, for a short technical rant. Remember to use only dis lled water. VICE PRESIDENT BY SUZAN LEWIS The dress most women regard as a must in their closet is the "Li le Black Dress". IT girl Claire Bow launches an iconic dress. It is commonly accepted that the "Li le Black Dress" made its first appearance via Paris designer Coco Chanel in French Vogue It was listed as Chanels Ford dress (named a er the black Model-T Ford). It was a simple sketch of a black crepe de chine day frock with a bodice which bloused at the waist. To this day the "Li le Black Dress" is a simple frock that can be worn for a causal occasion or accessorized to be worn at an elegant affair. SUNSHINE BY CHARLOTTE KESSLER We received a nice note from Bill and Kathy Williams thanking us for coming up to visit them in Pioche. This was read to the members. Doug Warren unfortunately had to have his big toe amputated. He is in good spirits and does not have the pain the toe was causing, thinking of you Doug! Lorraine Hanna says hi to all, having some breathing problems, seeing a specialist next month. Ed Portello has had a pacemaker put in, says his level is ge ng be er and he is stronger every day. Jim Miller had knee surgery on the 9th, doing well, glad to hear it Jim. Rita Waroway has been diagnosed with a serious medical condi on and will be mee ng with an oncologist shortly. Let's keep Rita and Dennis in our prayers 3

Workshop: Jim Miller suggested that we hold off on the workshops un l the temperature gets down to about 112 degrees.
