2 A letter from General Manager Gary Buckenara It is a very exciting time for the Frankston Football Club as we have now gained back our VFL licence to compete in the 2018 VFL football season. This provides everyone involved at the Club with a new beginning and new opportunities as we strive towards building strong foundations for the Club that equips us to be successful on and off the field. We must ensure that we build a strong culture at the Club where respect, hard work,decency and a Club first attitude is visible in all our actions and behaviours. We must ensure that we provide the Peninsula and South East of Victoria region with the best possible Club and football environment that will reflect our status as the regions elite football Club. Progress There is so much work ahead of us in the 2018 season. We have been working hard to make sure that we have good relationships with AFL SE and all the MPNFL Clubs as there is no doubt that the Peninsula region of Victoria has always produced AFL/VFL quality players and we see this as a very important area for us to recruit our future players from, so the relationships must be strong to ensure this pathway provides opportunities for the regions talented players to aspire to. We must enable these players to play football at the highest levels that they can. The Frankston Football Club Board of Management and I have put in a great deal of effort to pull together the on-field and off-field team for 2018 and now we must also ask for your support to spread the word as we release our membership packages for In 2017 the Bring Back the Dolphins campaign was very successful and in 2018 We re Back and to ensure we can continue to build the Club I ask for your support to sell our Club to your families and friends to join up as a member. We want to provide a wonderful experience for everyone who comes to the Frankston Football Club on game days. We are planning to make our home game days in 2018 family friendly and exciting days to attend with lots of activities for the kids and some good entertainment for the adults as well. There is so much to be excited about as the Frankston Football Club re-enters the VFL competition in 2018 and as you can see we offer some fantastic membership options and new merchandise for you to choose from. We would love to see as many of our Dolphins members as possible wearing our Club colors during the 2018 season to show the football world your support. As we build our Club into the future I will continue to stress the importance of your membership as each member is, and can be, an ambassador to sell our Club to your families and friends so that we can ensure that the Frankston Football Club thrives and prospers well into the future. So I am asking for your assistance and help in any way possible to sell and promote our Club and its facilities in 2018 and beyond. I look forward to seeing you at the Club soon and remember Go Dolphins in There is great strength in numbers and we want to make our home games in 2018 a fortress for the Dolphins where our players, members and supporters feel our passion and the opposition gets a sense that a victory is never going to be easy here.
