We are proud to announce your PGA Golf Professionals will be conducting the Get Golf Ready in 5 Days program right here in Bella Vista. Scheduled to launch late spring, sign-up will begin at the Golf Expo March 18. Our professionals will show you that there are lots of ways to play by combining fun, friends and fitness. Each session will focus on the various golf skills you will use while playing. In addition to learning the basics, you will be guided onto the golf course to put your skills into action in a casual, friendly setting. For $99, we will teach you in five days all you need to know to get started playing golf. Each participant will have complimentary use of the practice range as well as five 9-hole rounds of golf including cart during the five week program. What You Need to Bring Just yourself, a desire to have fun and perhaps a few friends to enjoy the great outdoors. Golf clubs, balls and other equipment will be provided. If you have ever wanted to learn how to play golf or played many years ago and gave it up, now is the time to get out of the house and see what your neighbors are talking about. From now until March 31, 2017, property owners can purchase one annual membership and receive HALF OFF on all additional memberships in different activity categories. Pay full price on the highest priced annual membership, but pay just half price for all additional annual memberships. 4 Look for Your Water Rebate! Eligible Water Customers to Receive a $20 Credit! As a way of saying Thank You to our valued customers, the Bella Vista POA Water Utility is issuing a $20 rebate. This rebate will be credited on the water bill customers receive in March. This is possible because of efficiencies within the Water Utility Department, which resulted in a surplus of funds over budget in To qualify for this rebate, you must be the owner of record on 12/31/16 and remain the owner of record as of 2/27/17. Because Bella Vista POA Water Utility must operate completely separate from the rest of the POA, the surplus funds could not be applied to any of the many other needed improvements within the POA. Highlands Boulevard Water Main Construction Bella Vista POA Water Utility will be replacing 1700 feet of 12 inch water main along Highlands Boulevard, between Queensferry Drive and Hebrides Drive (northeastern intersection), likely lasting until the end of March The purpose of this project is to replace a 12 inch water main that has had multiple breaks in recent history causing temporary loss of service. 5 2017 Golf News PGA Junior Golf League is coming to Bella Vista! Bella Vista has joined forces with Shadow Valley Country Club, Pinnacle Country Club, First Tee of NWA, Fayetteville Country Club, and Springdale Country Club to participate in a fun and exciting Junior Golf League for children and grandchildren of the Bella Vista community and NWA. Juniors from 8 to 13 years old, beginners to advanced, are encouraged to join the new Bella Vista Junior Golf League. This is a great way for kids to learn the game of golf in a structured team environment. All programs held in that room are cancelled for the week. On Friday, March 3, the entire Riordan Hall building will be closed for maintenance. Golf Expo Bella Vista s 8th Annual Golf Expo is scheduled for March 18 at Riordan Hall from 9 a.m p.m. with the Group Leaders meeting at 8 a.m. The event is free and open to the public. The Expo gives information about Bella Vista s golf groups and the opportunity to register for your favorite golf group for the year as well as a chance to talk with members of the Golf Division s staff and meet other Bella Vista Members.
