Proceeds for this year s tournament will benefit the Bridge to the Future Campaign aimed at upgrading facilities and technology at MCMC to ensure the best healthcare possible in the gorge. 4 MID-COLUMBIA HEALTH FOUNDATION USGA RULES: The USGA rules will govern all competition except for local rules of play and those regarding the scramble format. SCRAMBLE: On every hole, each member of the team must hit a tee shot. The team then selects one of the tee shots from which to play. All members of the team shall hit from that position. The procedure is repeated until the ball is holed. TWO TEE SHOTS: Each team member s tee shot must be used at least two (2) times per eighteen (18) hole round. Please indicate on scorecard, with an X, which player s tee shot is used per hole. SHOT SELECTION: Each team member may place his/her ball within one (1) club length of selected shot, no nearer to the hole. If the shot is played from a hazard bunker, rough (intermediate or regular), fairway or fringe of the green, the ball must be played from within one (1) club length of the shot selected, no nearer to the hole, and must remain in the hazard, bunker, rough (intermediate or regular) fairway, or fringe of the green. IMPROVING LIE OF BALL: When putting, the ball must be placed within one (1) putter head length from the (Putting Green) marker, no closer to the hole. No Mulligans may be used on the green! WATER HAZARD #9: Ladies, if your shot goes into the lake, you may use a drop area on the far side of the lake. You do not need to keep trying to get over. Men may not use the drop area. TEES: All players use white tees on front nine and red tees on back nine. Women use forward tee on #2 (Note: Play the white tees on the first nine holes played, regardless of which hole you start on). SCORING: Each team will get 10% of the total combined handicap. Record the single best, unadjusted score on each hole. Team prizes will be awarded for gross & net scores.
