1 September Results (2014) Yarrambat Park Golf Club A perfect spring day saw some new faces, some returning faces & the usual good times that only the VSGC can bring. Yarrambat Park held the September event & the good weather was in abundance, the day started with the usual drinks of rakija, coffee & banter. The club had Mila Krajacic return after a lengthy absence, new members, Alex Krstic, George Simic & Milan Denic came to enjoy the course, colour & friendship that only the VSGC can offer. Congratulations to Milan Vekovich (Winners are Grinners - pictured) who took first place on a count back from Blaza Parovic, other players who made the top 5 were youngster Micky Dordjevic (who was in the winners list last month), Alex Krstic (man in form) & Aca Jagger Nikolic. Other notable scores were that of Sladjan Krsic, Damir Trkulja & Mirko Legenda Pajic. After today s win, Milan Vekovich who currently leads the VSGC Aggregate, has broken away from the chasing pack & will be a very hard man to catch. By the end of the day, everyone had a story to tell of the good, the bad & the ugly, but as per usual, everyone was sitting in the beer garden sharing stories & laughing at all of the good things that make the VSGC the club they are. A special mention must go to Petar Skins Stojanovic for his NTP on the 8 th, Milan Denic for his NTP on the 16 th, Blaza Parovic who came second & an NTP on the 12 th. George Simic & Jovan Fidel Castro Markovic took home the chocolates on the 10 th for the Longest Drive (A & B grade) with some monster hits finding what was a very tight fairway.
