The Continental Whippet Alliance was formed to achieve the following objectives: 1. to unite Whippet fanciers with the common goal of promoting, protecting and preserving purebred Whippet racing 2. to encourage and promote quality in the breeding and racing of Whippets and to do all that is possible to bring their natural instincts to perfection 3. to urge members and breeders to accept the Whippet Standard of the Breed as approved by the American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence for Whippets 4. to do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the Whippet by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at race meets and conformation competitions and by providing a friendly and enjoyable environment 5. to provide a testing ground for Whippets to demonstrate they still have the instinct, desire and physical ability to do the athletic activity they were bred for, helping to maintain the Whippet as a healthy breed From the Editor I apologize profusely for the excessive lateness of this issue. I had every intention of getting this issue published before the AWC National in April, and here it is months later, I am still hopelessly behind. I was thrilled that the board graciously funded a copy of Adobe InDesign to use for Line and Lure, but that introduced a steeper learning curve than I had time to cope with, especially since I also wanted to take advantage of the new software to do a complete redesign of the newsletter. It was something of a perfect storm of stumbling blocks. But thankfully, I conquered the learning curve of the new software and by chipping away at the design and the content backlog a little bit every day, I ve finally gotten the thing done. I hope the sleek new design makes up a little bit for the late publication, and my deepest apologies, especially, to any advertiser whose ad is now woefully out of date. If you were counting on more timely publication of your ad, please contact me about a refund or comped ad in a future issue, and thanks so much for your patience and understanding. NEXT DEADLINE August 15, 2016 In order to get back on track, this is a combined issue for February and May, using the regular February theme, and we'll catch up in July with the May and July ad themes: 1. Upcoming Stars - the perfect vehicle to introduce and brag on your promising youngsters in training or making their debuts in Versatility - dedicated to the glory our versatile CWA whippets are achieving in other endeavors, including conformation, coursing, tracking, obedience, agility, flyball, dock diving, therapy work, and any other dog sport to which they set their sights! Whippets truly can (and do!) do it all! Of course regular advertising not in keeping with the issue theme(s) is alwais always welcome at the regular rate of $15 per page. Although I would not blame anybody for healthy skepticism, I expect a quick turnaround after that deadline to get back on schedule!

18 erendipity S parrowhawk FCH, OTR, CGC Background photo, Adobe stock photo; top and middle inset photos by Marie Anti, bottom inset photo by Beth Levine. was my pick from my first litter. She was an odd and quirky creature, fiercely independent and opinionated. From puppyhood she was an incredible athlete, but injury and bad experiences early in her training shook her confidence and she never lived up to her early promise in the field. I worked hard with her to rebuild her confidence and eventually she ran reliably enough to finish her ASFA field championship, though I never knew when I slipped her if she would be brilliant or get overwhelmed and quit and lope sheepishly back to me. She was box trained and loved the adrenaline rush of coming out of the boxes, but was intimidated if boxed with more than two other dogs, so she mostly got to practice by herself. Kestrel 11/22/2003-1/9/2016 When she was around five years old, at a CWA meet in California, I entered her in the meet to help make 20 dogs, knowing that even if she didn t finish the first race, she would at least come out of the boxes and not interfere with anybody. Lo and behold, not only did she not quit, she ran hard and won her race! I have rarely been prouder of any of my dogs than I was of her that day for overcoming her fears and racing with confidence. She went on to finish the meet, running a B score and finishing in the top 10. She never quit another race ever again. She did not exactly take the racing world by storm, but she loved racing and I loved racing her. It was as though we both knew how much courage it took her to overcome her fears and run with such confidence and wild abandon. It always seems that the challenging ones not only teach you the most, but also get the deepest under your skin. I loved her fiercely and miss her even more. She was always a keen and funny little bird, and I know she is flying free now, swift and fierce as her namesake... Bred, owned, loved and missed by Beth Levine, Serendipity

25 Henry It all started in 2005 with a cute little red boy in a compact package, bred by Les Pekarski and Shirri Peak of Comet Kennels. He loved the lure and running from the very beginning and was happy to chase! His first show was memorable. At just 6 months of age he won Best in Sweeps at the Duluth AWC Supported entry under our good friend, Carolyn Mountan of Wistwind Whippets. She always loved a solid red boy. This picture means so much now.

26 He never had much use for showing but we persevered as I thought he was a solid, athletic, sound little package with a lovely shape. Just what a Whippet should be. His first major came at 6 months of age and his last point not until 8 1/2 but finish he did, with two AWC Supported majors under Breeder judges Dr. Connie Brunkow and Mr. David Samuelson. The last Comet dog to finish in the breed ring, unfortunately after Les and Shirri were both gone. His real love was racing and one of his favorite places was Arthur s Acres. He finished his ARX in style at the 2007 CWA National, placing 7th out of 50. His swan song was winning the Legends race at the 2016 CWA National. Henry was his own dog, had an old style type and one helluva rear end. He was unique and we shared a very special bond. He was there for me regardless, always happy to greet me upon my return, happy, bouncing, barking, loving. He left us unexpectedly in the arms of angels earlier this year. My heart is absolutely broken. I miss him so

38 AAWC Alamo submitted by Sami Hirko Area Whippet Club February 27/28, 2017 Alvin, Texas Gung Hay Fat Choi! With this Chinese Happy New Year greeting, Alamo Area Whippet Club brought in the Year of the Monkey at our race meet in Alvin, Texas, February 27-28, Inspection was lively as owners read their dogs fortune cookies and debated the merits of the day s matchups. For the first time in awhile two puppy runs went down the track providing some thrills as the youngters showed lots of promise for their owners. Shades of the Vader/River duels of the past as their get matched intensity in these races. Vader daughter Lyla scampered ahead of her littermate Finn, followed by the River son Pilot in the first race. Banks (Pilot s littermate) was the clear winner in the second race over the Vader littermates Josephine and Brando. In program two the first race had Brando, Pilot and Finn, with the second showing the spectators Banks as the breakout speed dog, coming in ahead of Lyla and Josephine. Program three sorted the youngsters on who was least tired at that point, with Josephine winning the first race over Pilot and Finn. Banks finished the day undefeated with a handy lead over Lyla and then Brando. Full siblings to the young set of Vader puppies were the adult meet top dogs. Jedi won the meet with Skywalker half a point behind. Jedi won two of his races, Skywalker also won two, with littermates Solo and Leia filling out the top four in their races and the meet. Fifth place in the meet, picking up the 4 ARX points was Banner. This finished Banner s ARX title. Our seventh place dog Marley took home the lower set of 2 ARX points. In ninth place the FTE Nolan showed great promise for the track and went on to win the Match under judge Cindy Owens of O Run Whippets and was High Combined for the day. Marley and Nolan are half brothers sired by Spenser who was a respectable 14th place in the meet. With such promise on the young dogs, owner Red Tatro was delighted with his Flare s turtle (crazy monkey) award. Match selections were Nolan, Leni, Tanner, Arya. Monkey madness ended with more monkey toys as awards and an oriental meal to end the first day. Sunday morning opened with cloudy skies and word that a racegoer was sick. The club scambled to assist in a camp break down and all pulled together to render aid so that dogs and people could get on the road. Once the dust settled the race meet began with a three puppy showdown. Banks was joined by his littermate Cheddar and each race saw Banks run ahead of the remaining Vader son Finn with Cheddar in third. Meet winner for her first NARX points was Leia with her littermate Stormy in second place. This gave Stormy 2 NARX points and 4 ARX points. Their aunt Alley was third and FTE from the day before Nolan, now running as a B dog, came in fourth in the meet for 2 ARX

39 AAWC Alamo submitted by Sami Hirko Area Whippet Club February 27/28, 2017 Alvin, Texas Saturday match judge Cindy Owens and #1 Nolan, #2 Leni, #3 Tanner, #4 Arya points. Leni was fifth and with her win in the Match under judge Matt Kinch, she was the high combined for owner Candace Huzel, making her long drive south well worth the time and effort. Back to Back Turtle (Monkey butt for this weekend) awards went to Flare. The match top four were Leni, Tanner, Glory, and Nolan. I shall be keeping my fortune which read "You will take a chance in the near future, and win." This doesn t mean the lottery is mine, nor are my dogs winners, it just means that for all of us, bringing home my best companions, having fun with folks for a few days in the sunshine makes us winners. Zhu ni haoyun! Sunday match judge Cindy Owens and #1 Leni, #2 Tanner, #3 Glory, #4 Nolan

40 AAWC Alamo submitted by Sami Hirko Area Whippet Club April 2/3, 2016 Alvin, Texas When telling a fish story, one is admonished to not exaggerate and tell a whopper. However things ARE bigger in Texas. Alamo Area Whippet Club s April CWA race meet had the most perfect weather, best people and the fastest whippets ever, gathering at the Grove in Alvin, Texas. Two puppies and 22 adults showed up to run on the greenest grass with the previous day s rainfall keeping the track soft and springy. Giving quite a few inches to her taller litter brother, Jade spun in the box and Finn s breaking advantage kept him in the lead for all three puppy races. Jade showed remarkable speed and if the distance had been longer she would have caught her brother. Three FTE dogs came into the race meet having aged out of Puppy races. Litter brother Banks won his first adult race with brother Cheddar second. FTE Fly split the D girls Lynnsea and Flare for her first race coming from an outside lane. The C dogs were split into 2 races with excitement in both sets. Saturday s B racers came down the track like a wave of Gulf dolphins bouncing up and down in the waves. The A race was a straight on shark attack as the catchers dove in to get their dogs off the "chum bait" squawker. Program two had several races that resembled schools of fish with dogs staying tight and one race recording a three way tie. High point revealed that the northern dog Deuce was enjoying a day in the sunshine and he stayed undefeated to win the Meet and take home 4 NARX points. Solo, recovered from last month s injury, came in second in the meet, tied his sister Leia and they split the lower set of NARX points. Deuce s litter mate DD Verni also enjoyed some smooth sailing to pick up 4 ARX points in front of Stormy who with her 2 points continues to catch up to her ARX/NARX d littermates.

41 AAWC Alamo submitted by Sami Hirko Area Whippet Club April 2/3, 2016 Alvin, Texas Saturday match judge Nancy Amburgey and #1 Jillian, #2 Nolan, #3 Banks, #4 Angel Nancy Amburgey came out to study whippets and judge the match. Her choices from a nice lineup were Jilian, Nolan, Banks and Angel. FTE Banks was the High Combined with a sixth place meet win and half a point out of ARX contention. for some box training and the test dog runs. The skies were even bluer than the day before and the races were some of the nicest matched lineups. Puppy Jade im- Following the meet, the fish fry was held on the patio of the ultimate host and hostess - Lawrence and Angela collins. Grilled blackfin tuna, fried catfish, redfish and shrimp joined coleslaw, marinated vegie salad, hushpuppies and french fries on plates piled high. Diners swapped stories and dessert votes were collected on the merits of the carrot cake (technically another vegetable), brownies (cake or fudge) or cupcake of shoice (lemon curd, red velvet or chocolate fudge). With full bellies and tired dogs, meet goers ended a perfect Texas race day only to come back the next morning for THE Perfect race day. Cool breezes blew from the impromptu races of golf carts and uber scooters as the track was made ready

42 AAWC Alamo submitted by Sami Hirko Area Whippet Club April 2/3, 2016 Alvin, Texas proved her box breaking and finished a very close second behind her brothe Finn in the three puppy races. The D girls, who often vie for the turtle awards, both scored in their first race setting up the turtle watch as a new contingent of dogs claimed eggs for a few programs. In the end, with the crowd anticipating the final program, Flare emerged as the back to back Turtle beating off all challengers and taking home her two sea turtle stuffies. Races were well matched program after program, race after race, like watching the big aquarium as the schools of fish turned the tank. Deuce again ran undefeated and picked up another 4 NARX points and a pair of shark toys. Solo ran a very close second in several races and ended the day with two more NARX points. DD Verni goes north with four more ARX points from Sunday. Banks raced his way into his first ARX points and, under judge Lawrence Collins, won the match. Nolan was second, followed by Leia and Jillian. High Combined was Leia. As awards were presented and snacks consumed before breaking down camp and setting off on the road, AAWC President and Race Secretary Sami Hirko declared this the best race meet weekend ever, and that is no tall tale! Sunday match judge Lawrence Collins and #1 Banks, #2 Nolan, #3 Leia, #4 Jillian

47 In loving Memory... Bo Juzkiw It is almost the one year anniversary of the loss of a dear friend and founder of Racing For Fun, Bo Juzkiw. Bo and his wife, Janet, were early driving forces in getting CWA started in western Canada. Janet was race secretary and Bo was our lure operator. Janet and Bo moved from our area several years ago upon Bo s retirement and made a wonderful life for themselves in the quiet town of Grand Forks, BC. The laid back life style was much more to their liking than the hectic big city life. Together they enjoyed many travels where Janet would show the dogs and Bo would enjoy his passion, bicycle racing. No one was prepared for the news that Bo had been killed in a bike race in Colorado last August. Truly devastating news for Janet and their many friends. Bo was a quiet, gentle man who loved whippets and lived life to the fullest. Our hearts go out to Janet on this one year anniversary.

48 RFF Racing For Fun April 9/10, 2016 Abbotsford, BC submitted by Jennifer Szabo We made it! Winter break is finally over and it s time to dust off all the racing gear and get ready for our first race meet. We spent the last few weeks holding lots of practice days to help get all the new and seasoned racers ready for the meet and now it s finally time to see if all that hard work pays off. Of course one of the best parts of starting the race season again is seeing all those familiar faces from last year along with meeting all the new people and dogs trying out racing for the first time. We had a nice line up of FTE dogs to run this weekend with four running on Saturday and two on Sunday. I am thrilled to report all the FTEs ran issue free all weekend so hopefully this is the beginning of many more race meets to come for these youngsters. I think we are in for a very exciting race year locally with these youngsters and a few more waiting in the wings to join the ranks. Now on with the meet Race day dawned with sunny skies and warm weather, at times it felt more like summer then spring out there. We started the day with 20 adults and two puppies all eager to get the racing underway. We had some rather exciting racing between the FTEs and our seasoned racers. It was anyone s guess who would take points or even the meet today. Between Marshall, with his last yard push, and London, with his amazing box breaks, these two seasoned racers were not going to let the youngsters have it without a fight. The youngsters Chacha, Winston, Titian and Amy were all trading placements in the high point race so it all came down to the final program to see who would get points. When the dust finally settled it looked like the veteran Marshall squeaked out another meet win and Winston took home the top set of 4 ARX points thanks in part to having a great final run and winning the last high point. Chacha also had a great day running hard and really pushing those boys for top spot, Saturday match judge Penny Wilmot with #1 Winston, #2 Austin, #3 Portia, #4 Donald

49 RFF Racing For Fun April 9/10, 2016 Abbotsford, BC submitted by Jennifer Szabo and taking home 2 more ARX points. Our puppy racers Gibson and Austin also looked great in their runs and with luck will be running as adults soon. Once the meet was over it was time to get the match underway. Our judge Penny Wilmot had a nice line up of 13 dogs to choose from along with a small herd of puppies for exhibition only in the ring doing some ring training. The final placements were Winston, Austin, Portia and Donald. Saturday's high combined winner was Winston. Time to eat! Which for many is the highlight of the day. Just wish it had come a little sooner as were all rather hungry by the time it came to eating. However it was worth the wait as there were many awesome choices of eats and soon we all had plates piled high with food. Saturday's potluck winner was Darien Adley, with her lovely spinach and strawberry salad. Once we were all fed, prizes were handed out and the field was packed up so we could all head home to rest up for Sunday. Day two ended up being far less sunny and warm as the day before, which made for nice running temps for the dogs but a little cooler than expected for all the humans out standing in the field dressed for the forecasted warmer temps. Thankfully the overcast skies did not produce any rain so we stayed dry and the sun did eventually come out in time for the match and BBQ. We had an awesome turn out for our second day with 30 adult starters including two FTEs and two puppy racers. In addition to the regulars we had some nice running sprinters and a practices run in between the programs, so a very full day of racing was ahead of us. The racing was once again very tight with each high point race being won by a different dog. I hate to say it but it really was anyone s guess how things would end up. The weekend's FTEs continued to impress and appeared to build confidence with every race. Our seasoned racers were also not giving up without a fight, so the poor line judges had their hands full. Coming into the final program it looked like London, Chacha and Titian were all in the fight for the top spot but with dog racing you never know what might happen and some bad breaks and a traffic jam down the middle of the track gave Amy and Seven nice clear running room coming out of box #1 and #6 to sneak past the traffic

50 RFF Racing For Fun April 9/10, 2016 Abbotsford, BC submitted by Jennifer Szabo and finish first and second in the final high point. London was able to hold onto the meet win with a nice third placement and take home 5 NARX points. Thanks in part to her awesome final run in the last program Amy finished second and took home her first set of 5 ARX and 3 NARX points. In third place we had Chacha who might have gotten the worse end of the traffic in the final but still came home with 3 ARX points to finish her title and her first set of 1 NARX point. In fourth place we had our seasoned racer Seven who ran one of her career best scores today, and our long distance traveler Titian all the way from Idaho taking home his first set of 1 ARX point. Rounding out the top ten were our seasoned racers: the always speedy little girls Mia and Olive followed by a pair of fawn boys Hokum and Daltrey and our bridesmaid to ARX points the lovely Piper. Sunday's FTE racers Maddie and Priya also had some great runs today, so hopefully this is the first of many meets to come. Always great to see a nice big meet with lots of close tight racing throughout the grades. Now on to the show Sunday's judge was Carole Adley. We had another nice big line up of 13 dogs for her to choose from with the match win going to Seven, followed by Austin, Piper and Joy. Sunday's high combined winner was Seven. Once the show was done, we all dug in to another amazing spread of food and sat down in the sunshine to enjoy a great meal. So many great salads, desserts and yummy chili it was hard to decide what to eat first or even pick a winning dish. As a result we awarded two winners today! Potluck co-winners were Randy and his Chili and Sakia with her Pavlova. Thanks to all the fabulous cooks out there who made such yummy food for us to eat this weekend. Last but not least I would like to give a big thank you to everyone who came out and helped over the weekend. Whether it was with your entries or helping hands to get all the various tasks done that needed doing. Thank you. Sunday match judge Carole Adley with #1 Seven, #2 Austin, #3 Piper, #4 Joy

56 Photo by Lorraine Andrusiak Remembering Louie... For years, Louie was a fixture at Racing For Fun's meets, where he was renowned as the king of the potluck. Our potlucks will never be the same now that Louie has left us for the great potluck in the sky, but we all know he will be always with us in spirit, making the rounds from person to person, holding out for only the choicest morsels. No lettuce for Louie in the great beyond! Louie was owned, adored and sorely missed by Saskia Nollen and Greg Wynans, and remembered with great fondness by everyone in the RFF family. We all loved Louie!

57 LRC Lagniappe submitted by Sami Hirko Racing Club May 7/8, 2016 Bush, Louisiana On Saturday May 7, 2016 not all eyes were on the Kentucky Derby and the Run for the Roses. In Bush, Louisiana, many eyes were on the Run for the Magnolia Tree. Lagniappe Racing Club s CWA race track has the puppy finish line just past a huge Magnolia tree in full bloom. Eyes this weekend were on tiny brindle bombshell Jade as she pitted herself against her litter brother Finn, a lanky grey dog almost twice her height. Spectators were thrilled to see Jade s progress in her box breaking result in a win in the last race on Saturday. Twenty-one adults ran Saturday without a flowery finish line but with plenty of close races leaving the judges to get down in the weeds and determine placements. There was a three way tie for first place in the third program high-point, with six line judges each picking different places for three litter brothers. Solo, Jedi and Skywalker were tied for that program win, however the final meet placements were reflective of the brothers' normal finishes, with Jedi winning, Skywalker second and Solo third in the meet. Jedi picked up 4 NARX points, Skywalker 2, and Jedi went home one meet placement ahead of litter-sister Leia. I am sure Leia bragged on their trip back to Texas that meet placements are nothing without Match wins, and Leia was High Combined for Saturday. Top ARX points (4) went to a half-sister of the Star Wars siblings. This also finished Indigo s ARX title and gave her dam another title towards her ROM. Indigo s litter brother River did not run, but his daughter Sadie took home 2 ARX points with eighth place in the meet, and was the only other non ARX dog in the top ten. Match Judge Terry Meyer gave Benjamin first place in the match and his meet placement was seventh. Leia placed second in the match and just edged out Benjamin for the High Combined. Her sire Vader was third in the match and ninth in the meet, and Bose, Saturday match judge Terry Meyer with #1 Benjamin, #2 Leia, #3 Vader, #4 Bose

58 LRC Lagniappe submitted by Sami Hirko Racing Club May 7/8, 2016 Bush, Louisiana who had finished tenth in the meet, took fourth in the match. The Turtle award went to Tanner who was also awarded LRC s special recognition as the top placing AKC bench champion. After box practices the racegoers celebrated a successful day with a belated Cinco De Mayo meal topped off by a Dulce De Leche cake. Satisfied and stuffed, we were still able to get out of our beds to make an early inspection and continue with CWA racing on Sunday. Our two puppies took to the track again, however Finn s long stride kept him in front as he ran undefeated. Twenty adults started the race meet on Sunday. A few dogs from Saturday did not start and the temptation to join them in resting was enough for three dogs. Of the seventeen who finished, three non ARX dogs made it into the top ten. Skywalker and Jedi shared the meet win and the NARX points, each taking home 3. Saturday s ARX point winner Sadie finished one place behind her litter-brother Banks, who now also has 4 ARX points. In the match judged by Pamela Rhyner, Banks was first to Sadie s second place. Leia s third in the match and fourth in the meet tied her with Banks overall, however her higher meet placement netted her back to back high combined awards. Bose was fourth in the match and fifth in the meet. Saturday s FTE Brando came in as Sunday s turtle. Tanner had a better Sunday with lucky 13th place in the meet and again LRC s coveted top placing AKC bench champion. Track conditions held and the weather was perfect for racing as another CWA meet in Louisiana went into the books. Hats (nothing flowery nor fancy) off to Lagniappe Racing Club! Sunday match judge Pamela Rhyner with #1 Banks, #2 Sadie, #3 Leia, #4 Bose

63 CUR C-U submitted by Ule James Racing May 28/29, 2016 Rochester, Illinois The days were breezy and warm but not too bad. Saturday was beer chicken from the grill and Sunday was turkey from the oven thanks to Pat and Lisa. Lots of delicious pot luck items with really yummy desserts. On Saturday there were 18 adults and one puppy. In the first program, Levi won the C race, the two B races were won by Rafa and Fender, and the A race was won by Lizzie. In the second program there was a 6 dog race first, with Uschi and Jackson in front. The second race was a five dog race with Goldie and Marky in front, and the high point finished with Fender and Lizzie in front. On to the third program, with Lottie and Moon on top in the first race, and Remi and Uschi on top in the second race. In the high point, Fender and Lizzie finished in front. In the final program, the bottom set of ARX points was up for grabs. Jackson was first in the first race. The second race had a tie for first and second between Uschi and Lottie. A tie for third and fourth between Marky and Zen meant those dogs were out of the run for points, leaving Remy sitting in a good place for an ARX point. The high point finished with Lizzy, Fender, Darby and Remy in front, giving Fender 3 ARX points and Remy the bottom point. The conformation judge was Ule James and he selected out of nine dogs the following: Moon, Marky, Remy and Caleb. This meant the high combined was Remy owned by Deb Borton. NARX points went to Lizzie and Fender. Saturday match judge Ule James with #1 Moon, #2 Marky, #3 Remi, #4 Caleb

64 CUR C-U submitted by Ule James Racing May 28/29, 2016 Rochester, Illinois Saturday had wrapped prizes: everyone who runs a dog puts a wrapped prize in for each dog, and then everyone gets to pick a wrapped prize. If you want, before you pick, you can steal an item someone else already picked. Each item can only be stolen twice. Lisa Costello s packages with whippet memo pads were a frequent item to be stolen. On Saturday a lovely and speedy black rat snake visited Lisa Costello s red van first. Later in the day it visited Mary Huff s and she got a few photos. The snakes eat moles and other small furry things but they can climb trees so we weren't sure if it stayed or jumped into a van and went on the road with someone. Mary took a picture to prove she really did see the very long snake. We did not see any snakes racing down the track but they might have given the whippets a run for the money. The one I saw was very fast. On Sunday, there were 16 adults and two puppies. Both puppies ran clean and well all day. Caleb won the first adult race, and Levi won the C race, followed by Zen. Goldie won the B race, followed by Remi. The A race was won by Lizzie, followed by Fender. In the second program's adult races, Lottie, Remy and Lizzie won their respective races. The third program's race winners were Marky, Zen and Lizzie. Finally the 4th program... Marky, won the first race with Lottie in second. Fender won the second race, followed by Chloe. This left the NARX points for Fender and Chloe. The ARX points went to Fender and Remy. The conformation judge was Sandy McMillan, a Labrador breeder. She had ten dogs to choose from and she selected Moon, Marky, Trinity and Story. The high combined winner was Marky, owned by Jan- Sunday match judge Sandy McMillan and #1 Moon, #2 Marky, #3 Trinity, #4 Story
