It incorporates creations from our local community with exhibitors of all ages. The A&P Show is an excellent chance to exhibit your work, and there are some great prizes to be awarded. We welcome your entries and look forward to receiving your exhibits. 2 EXHIBITORS INFORMATION & GUIDELINES ENTRY OPTIONS; Enter online at entries to Post entries to PO Box 79, Wanaka 9343 Postal entries close on Monday 5th March or Bring forms to the Showground Pavilion from 9am to 5pm, Monday 5th to Thursday 8th March. ALL ENTRIES CLOSE AT 5pm THURSDAY 8th MARCH EXHIBIT TICKETS (class & section number) Exhibit Tickets are to be securely attached to the exhibits EXHIBITS ALL EXHIBITS ARE TO BE WITH THE SECTION MARSHALL no later than 5pm THURSDAY 8th MARCH EXHIBITORS BRING ENTRIES THROUGH GATE 5 ON THURSDAY EXHIBITS MUST BE COLLECTED FROM 4pm- 5.30pm on SATURDAY or MONDAY FROM 9am- 11am. This is the responsibility of the exhibitor. PAVILION DOORS CLOSE AT 5PM THURSDAY FOR JUDGING ALL PERISHABLE EXHIBITS NOT COLLECTED ON SATURDAY WILL BE DISPOSED OF ON SATURDAY AT 5.30PM. COMPETITION INFORMATION Any exhibit that has been exhibited in a previous Upper Clutha A & P Show is not eligible to compete The Committee will not under any circumstance hold itself responsible for any loss, damage or mis-delivery of exhibits at the Show. Security staff will be on duty from Thursday to Saturday. The pavilion is secured overnight. COMPETITION RULES All exhibits must be the work of the exhibitor. This is an amateur competition. Definition of amateur: a person who engages in an activity for pleasure rather than financial benefit. Entries will not be accepted from commercial exhibitors. The Judge s decision is final. Home Industry Prize Money can be collected from the Home Industry desk in the Pavilion from pm on Saturday and no later than 11am on Monday. There is no limit to the number of exhibits you may enter in most sections. Unless stated otherwise. Please read each section carefully. Admission to the Showground: Adult 1 day pass $15.00 Early Bird Adult 1 day pass $12.50 Youth Pass (13-17) $ and Under Free DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY Neither the organizers of the event to which these rules apply nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, vehicles, their contents and accessories or any other personal property whatsoever whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract, or in any other way whatsoever. NB. Under law it is not possible to sign a waiver which would protect a facility owner, farmer, employer or other person from liability should an accident occur as a result of neglect to take all practicable steps. The facility owner, local authority or farmer etc cannot contract out such responsibilities by requesting a waiver of liability. All practicable steps have been taken by the organizers to ensure your safety and we ask you to take particular heed of hazard signs that have been posted, and avoid these areas. The following is acceptable: change from colour to black and white in the Black and White class. Photographs entered into the iphoneography Class "Nature" are to be taken on a mobile device that is primarily not a camera for example: an iphone, ipad, mobile phone etc. There are a number of ways to get your photographs from your phone or device to your computer for printing; one is to the photo/s to yourself from your phone. (If you need help ask someone younger than you or Google it) All photographs are to be mounted onto A5 size white card. Photographs can be printed any size or shape as long as the finished work is smaller than the A5 white card. Please leave a minimum of a 2cm border. Photographs can be printed at a camera shop or a desktop printer, preferably on photographic paper.
