Referee Report: Scott Davis and Anne Louit. There were no send-offs in the last two weeks. Section tournament this weekend, we are helping Area U with the tournament. Going to purchase jerseys as a Thank You to the Upper Division referees, asking help from the region, the cost of the jerseys anywhere between $25 to $45, Scott will get together a proposal. Region 60 - playoffs under way - championship games this Saturday - 1 team (GU19) headed to Section Playoffs - player rating meetings underway - all-star players and coach selections underway - grad series player and coach selections underway - closing ceremonies set for 12/3-16 teams participating in Turkey Tournaments (MST, ASC, and AATT) That's all I can think of right now. 5 Region 88 s Playoffs started this past weekend for U16, others will follow starting tonight. Final evaluations will be completed tomorrow (we evaluate every player from U5 to U19). Taco truck was hired for each of the meetings (huge success). We present a Coach of the Year plaque at each of these meetings (voted only by the coaches). Pink ball total was $4,625, which will be donated to Glendale Adventist Medical Center s Cancer Care Guild. Wilson Middle School should have new turf field by 2018 (great news). We will have 36 all-star teams; all coaches have been selected. We still have some U8 goals available, if anyone is interested. Gently broke the news to our Board about our recently elected Area Director and it seemed to have been much better received than any other election news this month. See you Thursday!
