Reader can also be downloaded for free at Families without internet access should contact us for assistance in accessing 4-H information. State Fair Funding for 4-H Clubs Again this year at the Indiana State Fair there will be 4-H Education Stations presented in various locations on the state fairgrounds. This is a great way to inform the public about 4-H education opportunities and build club treasuries at the same time. Each approved 4-H group will receive a $400 financial award to teach fair visitors about a 4-H project during a four hour time block. In recent years, the LaGrange County 4-H Dog Club has been selected as a presenting group and has reached hundreds of fair goers with the likes of Rocky, Samson, Kipper and Max. Applications are due by May 1. Contact the Extension office for more information. 4-H Project Manuals 4-H ers should not come to the Extension office to pick up project manuals. Club leaders spend a great deal of time collecting these materials at the Extension office to pass out at meetings. Please do not shortchange the time they spend on your behalf doing this. If you cannot attend a club meeting, contact your 4-H leader first and ask him or her to then notify us. 4-H Shooting Sports Rifle Schedule WHO: 4-H youth in grades 5-12 WHERE: Weaver Family Farm 4-H Source Book If you are looking for 4-H items such as clothing, office supplies, or other gifts, then check out the H Source Book.
